One of the major world motorsport events, Formula One (F1) racing is held annually in Sepang Circuit, 85 km outside Kuala Lumpur annually since its opening in 1999. It is also the site for A1 racing and Moto GP for motorcycles. It is one of the newest and impressive circuits of F1 racing. |

Bukit Unggul Country Club is lcoated in a valley... It can be really stuffy if the winds are not blowing... The 18-holes par-71 course plays to 5,858m from the blue tees... It is deisgned by American golf architect, Ronald Fream... The Swan Nine plays to a short 2,824m while the Eagle Nine to 3,034m... The course is rather scenic and undulating as it is in a valley... Water comes into paly is a number of holes, particularly the Eagles Nine... The Eagles Nine is light for night play... The club has a rather big clubhouse perched on a hillside overlooking the course... There is a big male changing room as well as a lady changing (cannot check as i am not a lady golfer, hehe)... The golfer's terrace serves good food... Golfing service is good... With the upgraded course, it is now buggy on track... |

The 18-holes par-71 course plays to 5,738m from the blue tees with the First Nine at 2,845m and the Second Nine at 2,893m... Designed by Australian golf architect Ted Parslow, the course in rather compact and the fairways are tight and some criss-crossing... The course is built over rolling terrain with numerous doglegs... Night golfing is available on weekdays... The clubhouse has both men and ladies changing rooms... The Mayan Coffee House serves good local and Western cuisine... The Palm Garden Golf Club (PGGC) is part of the IOI Resort comprising of the 3* Palm Garden Hotel and the 5* Putrajaya Marriot... Designed by Rick Robbins, PGGC comprises of 3 Nines ~ Putra, Palm and IOI Nines... The championship nines of Putra and Palm play to 2,978m and 3,022m respectively... The shorter, but more challenging IOI Nine plays to 2,811m, all from the blue tees... The course is rather wide providing a golfers with a really friendly course... Among the amendities are the men and ladies changing room, the (rather expensive) Golfers Terrance and the Aroi Ree Thai Restaurant... There is also the driving range with its own F&B facility serving more affordable simple food and drinks... |

The Port Klang Golf Resort plays to 6,280m from the blue tees... with the 1st Nine playing to 3,172m and the 2nd Nine at 3,108m... The course is rather flat being along the sea coast... The course in not playable during the rainy season as it will be very soggy... You will come across many crows on the fairways and greens... There is a small clubhouse with men and ladies changing rooms as well as a small golfers lounge for a simple meal and drinks... There are also a few chalets for rental next to the clubhouse for those who would like a leisurely game and a place to stay the night... |

The Subang National Golf Club is now known by its local name Kelab Golf Negara Subang (or KGNS)... It was opened in 1968 by the then Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, who was instrumental in founding the club... The club has two 18-holes course ~ the 18-holes championship Putra Course and the other 18-holes Kelana Course... The challenging Putra Course, with the Agong's Nine and Tunku's Nine, play to 3,188m each from the blue tees, making a total of 6,326m... The course is rather flat with minimum hazards but comparative long... Fairway is of cow grass but immaculately maintained... The greens are elevated and fast... The shorter Kelana Course play to 5,732m from the blue tees... The Sultan's Nine plays to 2,923m with the Tun's Nine playing to 2,800m... The layout is similar to that of the Putra Course wth cow grass fairways... As this is the shorter course, it is also referred to as the kiddy course by KGNS members... The club has a Chinese restuarant and a popular Golfer's Terrance... There is also a bar and lounge for relaxation after a hard round of golf... The Golfer's Terrance is noted for its good and relatively cheap food... The course is popular and golfing traffic is high throughout the week... Only foursomes are allowed during weekends and public holidays... Both trolleys and buggies are allowed on the course... As this is a members' club, it is not open to public... Other than golfers who have reciprocal agreement with the club, non-members can only play with members and each member can only introduce one guest... |

The par-72 West Course plays to 5,930m with the 1st nine 2,919m and the 2nd nine at 2,929m from the blue tees... while the par-72 East Course plays to 5,819m with the 1st nine at 2,901m and the 2nd nine at 2,901m as well... The fairways are of cow grass with water coming into play is a number of holes... While it is buggy on track at the West Course, buggy is on fairways on the East Course... The resort has a golf school named the Aman Golf School which caters mainly for Korean golfers... It has accommodations on-site with a large clubhouse... The golfers terrace is also big with both air-cond and non air-cond dining areas... The changing rooms are large but rather run-down... |
