Sungai Selangor is located in Kuala Kubu Baru (or KKB)... It is one of the white water country which includes Padas and Kiulu (in Sabah), Sedim (in Kedah), Kampar (in Perak) or Jeeram Besu (in Pahang)... Sungai Selangor is still rated from gard 1 to 4 despite the construction of the Sungai Selangor Dam in the late 1990s... grade 4 is when the water level goes up and the rapids become more challenging to rafters)...The 8km adventure starts with a cruise to Flip Corner where all rafters get into the water for a confidence exercise and to practise what they have learnt at a 20-mins safety briefing earlier... The challenge then teases with small, tame rapids before the ride on the first drop at First Canyon... here, guides are on stand-by with rescue ropes...Next is the Chicken Drop - the drop that pushes the raft down for it to float high before hitting a stone wall.. The Templer Park golf course was designed by fame Japanese golf architect Jumbo Ozaki...The 18-holes par-72 course is set in the midst of a natural sanctuary and surrounded by virgin forest with the famous Bukit Takun rising majestically by the side... The First Nine plays to 3,370yds from the blue tees with the Second Nine at 3,355yds... The course is immaticulately maintained with water coming to play on only 3 holes viz holes #8, #9 and #18... The fairways are lined with matured shady trees... Hole #10 plays to the outcrop Bukit Takun on the left of the fairway... It is said that this hole is haunted... Caddy is compulsory and is responsibly for driving the buggy...

Bukit Unggul Country Club is lcoated in a valley... It can be really stuffy if the winds are not blowing... The 18-holes par-71 course plays to 5,858m from the blue tees... It is deisgned by American golf architect, Ronald Fream... The Swan Nine plays to a short 2,824m while the Eagle Nine to 3,034m... The course is rather scenic and undulating as it is in a valley... Water comes into paly is a number of holes, particularly the Eagles Nine... The Eagles Nine is light for night play...
The club has a rather big clubhouse perched on a hillside overlooking the course... There is a big male changing room as well as a lady changing (cannot check as i am not a lady golfer, hehe)... The golfer's terrace serves good food... Golfing service is good... With the upgraded course, it is now buggy on track...

The courses are of average length and challenging, with undulating fairways...The par-72 West Course plays to 5,930m with the 1st nine 2,919m and the 2nd nine at 2,929m from the blue tees... while the par-72 East Course plays to 5,819m with the 1st nine at 2,901m and the 2nd nine at 2,901m as well... The fairways are of cow grass with water coming into play is a number of holes... While it is buggy on track at the West Course, buggy is on fairways on the East Course...

There is a small clubhouse with men and ladies changing rooms as well as a small golfers lounge for a simple meal and drinks... There are also a few chalets for rental next to the clubhouse for those who would like a leisurely game and a place to stay the night...
