Its only known among locals as it located pretty far (around 25km) from the main road or Batu Kikir Town. Along the way u will pass sleepy villages with various scenery with mountain range in the background. You'll know that u are almost there when u reach the Orang Asli (malaysian native community) village of Kampung Tengkek. Right after you crossing (by one way tarred road) few orchards u will see the main entrance. the river is pretty small at the downpart but there's few small rapids at further up area. Boardwalk will keep u dry to reach the upper part of the rapid and along the way there (not a really long walk) a few huts were built for u to choose the right spot to relax and picnic. At the upper part there are changing room, small huts and cement stairs that will lead u to the top of the waterfall. At here, u can swim, just soak yourself after a hot day travel or dip your feet into the crystal clear water.
Its a great place to go as it not too crowded like the Ulu Bendul Recreational Forest. But the bad points are there are no public transport (bus) and only some telco line were available here. Not to worry u can get a taxi from Batu Kikir Town to there and arrange the return time with the taxi driver to pick u up. and if u have your very own transpot it will makes thing more easier. dont forget to bring your own food as there are no shop or stall open here on weekdays. but along the way there are small shops for u to get your needs.
There are numbers of facilities available here like chalets, musolla, toilets, hall, campsites for up to 200 people and etc. for further information u can contact the Forestry Department number that i enclosed below.
Batu Kikir located between the town of Kuala Pilah and Bahau. it took about an hour and half from Seremban to get here.
