If you are at Mantin and not know what to do, you may condiser to go for hiking at Broga Hill also known as Bukit Lalang, (Su Mao San)... it is just take a 15 minutes drive heading to Semenyih.

It at least take you 45min - 1 hr hike if you are new, 30-45 mins for season climber to reach the top for beautiful sunset.

NOTE: There is not toilet. To use the rabit farm toilet it cost you RM 5 (entrance to the farm fees)

DIRECTIONS

Drive head to Semenyih, when you are almost reaching Semenyih, notice a "Petronas" petro/gas station on your Left & Nottingham Uni sign board. TURN RIGHT at T junction.
Go straight til reach narrower road with oil palm plantation. The entrance is just +-50 meter (Opp rabbit farm), park your car at the oil palm plantation.

Start your hike from hear.

If you want to find the "signature" Mantin food, you got to go Old Mantin. Old Mantin prepares and serves traditional Chinese rice pudding.
If you are fan for stuff tofu (Yong Tofu, 酿豆腐), Old Mantin serves the most authentic Hakka Yong Tau Fu there. Usually you will see a lot of flour in the stuff, but here, it is real meat!

You can enjoy Wifi too, if you want to go online.

Rice pudding was originally a dessert found in the regions of Guangdong and Xiamen. It was brought to Malay Peninsular when the Southern Chinese migrated here. As the time went by, many traditional desserts were not passed down and disappeared along the way. Old Mantin inherits the authentic rice pudding recipe and method of preparation. It gives us the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful traditional dessert.

Favorite thing: Mantin is a small town along the old hilly road from Seremban to Kuala Lumpur. If you drive that road, you will sure pass by this small town called Mantin but so far I haven't yet snap any photos but will do it the next time. The location is same as Seremban under same district but approximately 30 kms north.
