The best seafood restaurant in town with a very affordable price. Once visit will bring you back again and again...

    Business Hours: 10am to 11pm

Some of the recommended dishes are Thai Style Mango Chicken, Nestum Butter Prawns, Steam Local Fish, Cheese Crab, Soup of Lala, Special Claypot Seafood, Coconut Prawn, Special Bean Curd, Chili Crab, Sesame Sotong, etc. I personally like the Speical Claypot Seafood and cheese crab. Must try.

The boss who is a young dashing guy will approach you on some comments on the food. Hey, customer's feedback is of utmost importance !

Located near to Teluk Kemang beach and Guoman Hotel.

We decided to try this restaurant on our way to Port Dickson Half Marathon. We heard so much praises in the food blogs.

    Landmark:
It is located at the corner lot of a row of shophouses opposite Chinese School - Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Chung Hua Lukut. P.D 1964. If not sure, ask the locals - they will point you to the right place. Yes..It is THAT famous.

The signature dish is the LUCKY KING BUN!

A very unique dish - chicken curry wrapped inside a huge bun!

The bun is cut open with a pair of scissors, revealing a "pouch" of chicken curry inside. The serving method is quite appealing. Love the star shape presentation.

How do you eat this dish? Just use your hand to tear of the bun and then dip it into the curry. The bun will absorb the yummy goodness of the curry. You can scoop up the chicken and eat it with the bun. The curry chicken is thick and very delicious. Hmmmm....writing this review is making me hungry again. Heheh!

The verdict: See that last picture. We practically wolfed down everything except the plastic and aluminum wrapper. Yes...it is THAT good!

One bun costs about RM18, good for 4-6 people.

The hotel restaurants served great food and it can be quite pricey. A plate of chicken rice costs us RM$10.. But it was yummy though..

Saw their breakfast bufffet spread... Damn good .. Cost RM$35... Never try but it sure looks good...

They also have romantic dinner set, dining under the star, overseeing the horizon... Beauuutifull.... Cost abt RM$100 per person...

This malay eatery situated at Teluk Kemang beach is one of the larger ikan bakar restaurants situated in the vicinity.

Quality and taste of food are ordinary. Ample parking space. Next to the parking lot and right turn, you can try steamboat.

  • Nice place, clean and well-maintained. Open air concept, though indoor and sheltered sections are also available. A good place if street warongs (stalls) are a definite no-no. fast service. Good food. Good smoothies. Money well-spent. Ample parking space. There's a little stage with live entertainment... (1 out of 5 rating for entertainment value). The owner or the captain on duty (he wore a long sleeved t'ganu batik under the signature dato'-dato' or gerak khas wannabe sleeveless vest) kept making his rounds. too much making him look more like a security officer on guard.

The soursop and pineapple smoothies was really good, compared to those I always get from such restaurants back in KL or JB.

The local fare were tasty, though the portion was quite small.

  • Directions: just next to one petrol kiosk (PORT DICKSON)... can't remember whether SHELL/MOBIL/ESSO/PETRONAS. I guess its on Telok Kemang stretch of beach, not too far from Hotel Seri Malaysia.

The restaurant is located at the main street of Lukut, north of Port Dickson. A local friend recommended this local specialty to me. It's a huge bun wrapped with curry chicken fillings. The bread is soft with butter taste, definitely good for dipping the curry. The curry chicken is fragrant and not that spicy therefore it suites everyone's taste.

A big bun costs RM23, whereas a small one is RM18. There are three types of flavours or rather fillings. However, the other two flavours need to be pre-ordered.

  • I was having a hard time finding a vegetarian restaurant here. But there is one to the left on the road from Port Dickson to Lukut. It's somewhere near the Shell refinery but I can't remember it's name. The signboard is quite prominent and it's at the corner of a row of shophouses. The food is Indian and could be very spicy. But it's quite tasty and worth the try!
