You can stop almost anywhere and try your hand at -
jet skis, wind surfing, banana boats, ocean water skiing, catamarans, power boats, canoeing, all sorts of sailing etc etc. You got the idea.
The best place in the Royal Yacht Club but you have to be a boatie to get in.
Most beaches and hotels have limited facilities; many private hirers have some facilities.
Shop around for prices. Sadly, there's a different price for foreigners so take at least 30% off the stated price and walk away if they don't reduce.
The Straits of Malacca are basically still water. It's only about 50km to Sumatra so there's no surf and there's a 25 metre low/high tide exposing all the rocks and sand bars and mud flats.
Equipment: No need to bring anything. There's plenty of private hirers.

Playing to 2,276m the par-35, the short course is rather challenging with its hilly and stragetically placed hazard... This course is well maintained and has many species of flora and birds that serve to advance its natural beauty. There are also numerous rambutan, durian, mango, petai, ciku, starfruit and coconut trees all over the course.
The par-3 8th is Guoman’s signature hole. Its tees are just 20 metres above sea level, with the Malacca Straits in full-view. The carry is over water to a green that has a coconut tree on the right. It is certainly one of the most scenic holes.
Equipment: The weekday green fee - Monday to Friday - is RM30 for nine holes and RM40 for 18, while on weekends and Public Holidays it is RM50 and RM70 respectively.
The course is only opened to resort guests and not available to the public.

The 18-hole par-72 golf course plays to 5,835m from the blue tees with the 1st Nine at 2,935m and the 2nd Nine at 2,900m... The course is comparative flat turfed with cow grass... Water comes into play in a number of holes... The signature hole is the par 3 hole #15, with its green along the beach of the Straits of Melaka... The course is not well maintained and hence with compararive light traffic, even on weekends and public holidays...
Equipment: The clubhouse has changing room facilities and a golfer's terrance for drinks and simple meal...

just rent in front of swat port dickson training centre, and you can do kayaking and canoeing!!!
