This is Seremban Siew-Pao, each cost RM1.10, eat with hand only, or even better to eat with ice beer or hot Chinese tea. I am not sure whether this is halal food, but anyway, there are KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, 7-Eleven, etc and Vegetarian restaurants too, I especially like the restaurant of Sri Lanka, the Thosai of Ghee Massala and Tea Ceylon, etc, two person's dinner cost Rm12. This vegetarian restaurant is located opposite the people's square, name is VB. I was searching for a restaurant to watch live telecast football match between Chelsea and Manutd so ended up here, I think mostly Indians not interested in watching football in restaurant in Seremban, they have a TV but they watch other channels, anyway the result was Chelsea 3:0 MU, EPL Champion retained. The restaurant is located on the left side of Jalan Temiang... It is an intermediate shophouse next to Kee Mei Seremban Siew Pau... The dining hall is rather warm as ventilation is not good and with cooking in the front portion of the shop... Service is not particular friendly... The place is usually crowded during weekends and public holidays...
Favorite Dish: The restaurant only sells bak kut teh (BKT)... The cooking style is that of KLumpur where the soup is rather strong with tong kwei... unlike those from Klang whether the soup is clear and not so strong in Chinese herbs... There are the usual pork ribs, pork knuckles, pork meat etc... The food is nothing extraordinary...

The stall together with ovens is accessible to customers... You can see the various buns and confectioneries being baked...
The shop is opened daily from 8.00am to 7.00pm... However, the ever popular egg tarts are available only around 11.30am...
Favorite Dish: The stall is noted for its siew pau, the most famous buns in Seremban... There are at least 3 major makers of siew pau but this is the best... Fillings for the siew pau are either pork or chicken... Others include Kee Mei Siew Pau (also in Temiang area) and Empayer Siew Pau (in Seremban2 wholesale market)...
There are a variety of buns which are good here, the most notable is the egg tart which is also the best here... There are also chang pau, tau sar peang, pineapple tarts and a whole list of buns...

This small shop is run by a grumpy lady but a visit is worthwhile...
Favorite Dish: The shop only sells hakka mee (or noodles)... The noodles can be either dry (kuan-low) or wet with soup (chi-sue)... It is served with minced pork meat... The hakka mee here is much better than the hakka mee stall in the central market, which seems to have lost its quality...
The shop is open everyday from about 1.00pm to 4.30pm...

You could barely see what's inside from the tinted glass doors and panels of this shop. I tried my luck anyway. It is located a few shops from the hotel that I just check-out from and it was raining!
The ambiance was nice. The place was clean. The waitresses were attentive.
Favorite Dish: I ordered the stewed curry chicken noodle. It is basically instant noodle drenched in thick curry. The curry was good but the chicken was tough - I think it has been refried (re:leftovers). It would be better if they had used fresh chicken.
I couldn't finish the whole plate as the portion if quite big, fit for Uncle Fatty but not for me....
On the positive note - The fresh juices here are excellent!
