    Restoran Weng Hong: Chinese

Chinese, Indian, Malay; they have it all. Although the restaurant's name is Chinese, they practically cater to all needs (thanks to nearby food stalls).
Don't have to worry about halal food, cos they just buy from the other stall and have separate tables and utensils for Muslims. I personally feel this brings a closer relation with other races.

Favorite Dish: Good Indian food, the fish curry is simply delicious.

VB Vegetarian restaurant (Sri Lanka foods): VB (Vasantha Bhavan) Vegetarian restaurant

VB Vegetarian restaurant (Sri Lanka foods)

VB or Vasantha Bhavan Vegetarian restaurant (Sri Lanka foods) is the one with yellow signboard in between car and bike. The location is opposite peoples' square or city square in town center, neighbour is Chevrolet car shop, you can park car at behind, approximately 150 meters walkable distance from Carlton Star Hotel. I came here watching Chelsea 3:0 ManUtd 2005/2006 EPL. This restaurant served nearly all kinds of Indian vigetarian foods, I saw the menu about 50 or more dishes and beverages, all Indians all vegetarians, fantastic. This is one of the most complete Indian menu in Malaysia, Indian population in Seremban is more than any other towns in Malaysia, this is why the Indian foods here are more variety and better quality. Btw, the second time I edit this tip was after watching England 1:0 Paraguay 9pm 11-06-2006, also at VB. Interestingly the boss of VB is multilingual, he spoke extremely fluent Mandarin, Tamil, English & Malay. One of the best among the menu was the Ghee Massala Tosai Rm2.80 only, delicious!!!

    the asia laksa house...
    2 more images

This curry laksa stall is very popular in Senawang, the industrial estate south of Seremban... The stall is located in the shophouse that house Restoran Asia which is owned by the laksa stall operator... It is to be noted that the operator is the brother of that of Restoran Asia in Loop Road... so we have a family recipe here...

The curry laksa is good... you have have it with cockles, tofu puff, barbeque meat and the normal laksa ingredients... You can also request for more chili or satan as well... There are also yong tau foo to go with the curry laksa and they are good as well...

Besides curry laksa, the restuarant also have stalls selling economy rice as well... but don't take the coffee, it is not up to standard...

Rahang Road Laksa Stall: Rahang Road Laksa Stall

by chiabh Updated Jun 9, 2006
    rahang road laksa stall

This wayside stall serves very good laksa as well... Do not under-estimate its un-inviting shed... Besides its good curry laksa, its stuffed tofu puff and tofu is my favourite... It also serves fried sui kow and its laksa comes with minced meat cooked to perfection... Beside the stall is a mamak stall that sells cheap nasi lemak... and there are 5 types to choose from...

    restoran asia...

I would rate the laksa the best in Seremban... The speciality is its laksa... You can have the laksa with curry chicken, cockles or barbeque meat... its curry gravy is thick with not too much satan... Besides laksa, it serves noodle in clear soup as well, which is equally good...

The restaurant, one of the oldest establishment and re-known in Seremban, is know for its good Chinese food... located on the main road from the PLUS Seremban Interchange to Seremban town centre... Service is very good... although the restaurant looks a bit run down currently...

Favorite Dish: Of course, my favourite here is the pig knuckles which is steamed unlike the German knuckles which is deep fried... most of the dishes are good and delicious... and they provide complimentary soup to go with the meal...

A&W Restaurant: Burgers Around the Clock!

by savitha Written May 15, 2005
    Ice Cream Waffle@A&W

One of the very minimal food outlets which open 24 hrs in Seremban...

Favorite Dish: The ice-creams are good, I personally love the ice cream waffle here...Its around RM4.90 (Excl. tax)

Other than that, you can get burgers, fries, Onion Rings, etc. The famed Root Beer (with / without ice-cream) is certainly refreshing...

    Kensington Restaurant: Western Food Anyone?

by savitha Written May 14, 2005
    Crispy Aromatic Duck-Starters!

I would say Kensington has a mix of Western and local food...Its pretty pricey considering Seremban is a small town...
But the food and ambience is great...!

Favorite Dish: They've got Set Menu's for One, 2 or 4 people.

I had the Crispy Aromatic Duck as starters and I'm glad I tried it. It was served with Cabbage/Lettuce Leaves, Cucumbers, Sauce and the Crispy duck. You may eat the dish on its own, but to put more fun into your food, try to wrap the duck in the cabbage leave, put some sauce before wrapping it and MMmmmm...yummy! Of course, the fun part would be the sauce dripping off, and make sure its not on your shirt! haahhah!

Some main course suggestion is the Grilled Salmon, Dory Fish Fillet ( you have a choice of different sauces to try it with, I tried the Cajun and the Cream Cheese on 2 occasions...Not bad! )

They also got Lamb Chop, Rib Eye etc. Check it out...

    Wine is also served here...
