The par-72 18-holes course plays to 6,236m from the men's tees... The course is an old course grouped together as the "Royal" courses such Royal Perak Golf Club, Royal Pahang Golf Club, Royal Selangor Golf Club etc... The First Nine plays to 3,181m while the Second Nine to 3,055m... The course is matured with old trees lining the fairway providing much needed shade... The fairway is of cow grass with minimum water hazards... It is a long undulating course... The First Nine is rather flat except for the opening hole #1 and closing hole #9... The Second Nine is more hilly and challenging...

SIGC is a buggy course although members can also walk the course... Caddies are available and is compulsory during peak hours of play...

Equipment: The usual men and ladies changing room were upgraded for the Sukma Games in 2006... There is the Golfer's Terrace for simple food and drinks... There is also a driving range... The clubhouse also have a swimming pool...

This rather old course plays to 5,972m from the blue tees... The shorter First Nine plays to 2,852m while the Second Nine at 3,120m... The fairway is of cow grass and the course is rather hilly with some holes where water come into play...

Equipment: The clubhouse is big but under utilised... The changing rooms are rather un-maintained... There is a small golfders terrace for drinks... There are also accommodations for golfers who want to stay the night... and these are normally taken by visiting Korean golfers during their winter sojourn...

The course is rather challenging with water coming into play in all but 2 holes... The fairway is also hilly and undulating... The course plays to a total of 6,072m from the blue tees... with the First Nine at 2,879m and the Second Nine at 3,193m... The view from the tee-boxes are breath-taking and the course is not for high handicapers...

Equipment: It has a rather big clubhouse with male and lady changing rooms... It also have a small pro-shop and a golfers terrance for drinks and simple food...

    Staffield Country Resort

    western hole #8

Designed by Australian golf course architect Graham Marsh, Staffield golf course comprises three separate 9-holes courses... viz Northern, Southern and Western... Sprawling over some 335 acres of gently rolling meadows, the course gives an impression of courses in faraway Ireland and Scotland... From the blue tees, the Northern Nine plays to 3,197m with both the Southern Nine and Western Nine at 3,108m... The course is comparative flat with water coming into play in some holes... Generally, it is a comparatively easy course to play for low scores...

Promotion rates (as at June 2007) is RM58 (on Mondays) and RM68 (from Tuesday to Fridays) for tee-offs before 8.30am... Players must take note that caddy service (at RM32 for 18-holes excluding tips) is compulsory which makes the promotion not so attractive after all... It is unfortunately to note that the course is not so well maintained currently and certainly not in the best shape to have a round of enjoyable golf...
