Cukai is famous for stuffed crab and the best can be found in Tong Juan. This dish is basically meshed crab meat with egg which is stuffed into the crab-shell and served. You can also order other seafood items like steamed fish, butter prawns or cockles. Personally, I find nothing special in the rest of the dishes. Only the stuffed crab is worth trying but if you are here for dinner why not just order some simple dishes & rice too. Food is quite expensive but for the stuffed crabs, it's worth the try.
Favorite Dish: Stuffed crab.

The best coffee in town is definitely Hai Peng. Enjoy a cup of hot local-brewed coffee with a nice pack of nasi dagang! Or you can also have an assortment of kueh, toast bread, half-boiled egg, nasi lemak etc. You can also do it western style - order an ice-blended coffee! Yup... they have that too. But the best must still be the hot local coffee. The trick is drink it here. Don't by the readily-packed ones or the instant coffee type coz it won't taste so good when you try it at home!
Note: Not open on Fridays!
Favorite Dish: Coffee with toast bread & half-boiled eggs.

Local food like nasi lemak and nasi dagang but what is great is the coffee. Order one! Make that two! I know, I had two.
Favorite Dish: Its the coffee. Just get the coffee. Don't miss the kaya roti too.
