Beware of cows, goats, sheeps, wild boars and even tapirs crossing the road anywhere in Terengganu. They are the kings of the roads. Getting into an accident with the cows will damage your cars and worse still make a whole village angry! They blame you for it even though they failed to take care of their herd!
You have to be extra careful on deserted roads (off the main trunk roads) as big herds of cows may be strolling down the road in the middle of the night and you can't see them from far. Drive with extreme care!
