Hai Peng Coffeshop by yipsufen This is a popular Kopitiam (coffeeshop) among the locals and was established since 1940. You can see all races enjoying the universal food here like coffee and toasts. This is a typical coffeeshop with some added touch of nostalgia as you can see some antique collections displaying in the shop. Beside their famous traditional Hai Peng coffee, you can try their signature Vietnamese coffee which is strong and fragrant. Alternatively, you can call ice-blended coffee. If you are feeling hungry, why not try their nasi lemak (santan rice), fried meehoon, nasi dagang, etc. Your favourite half-boiled eggs are available too. They have come up with a novelty idea of selling their own brand of coffee in sachets. 20 sachets in a box for RM19.90. However, the taste is very much different from the one brewed in the coffeeshop.

Hai Peng Coffee and Toast by Chosie One of the reasons I prefer this home made traditional coffee to the famous coffee like Coffeebean or Starbuck is that the coffee brewed wouldn't make me feel headache after drinking it. The mild coffee aroma and the right sweetener and creamer makes the coffee perfect. I addict to it after my first mouthful of the coffee. Restoran Tong Juan by yipsufen Crab meat is extracted from shell and mix with some fish meat and other ingredients like spring onions and eggs. Then the mixed paste is filled back to the crab shell. The crab shell filling is quite meaty and tasty. RM6 per stuffed crab. Beside stuffed crab, you can also order their crab meat fried rice which is quite delicious. You can also savour their other seafood dishes, like sharkfins soup, abalone, lobster, fish, prawns and cuttlefish.

Delicious food although it was a very simple and plain stuff.. like bread, coffee... It does give me a memory of old days sitting in a local "kopi" shop.. of cause they having a latest packaging which showing in the pix below.. plastic cup with sealling on top... not like old days... plastic glass... but they do search "Kopi" hot one like old days... in a "Cawan"...
Definately the Coffee... and the Bun with Butter Kaya... I dont like tha "Tapai" though... taste weird... but you can try it... and the curry puff there is nice too... This coffee house was established since 1940. They serve very delicious home made coffee.
The specialty is coffee and toast bread spread with kaya (a sweet creamy spread made from coconut milk and eggs). There is also some other local snacks like nasi lemak (rice cooked in coconut milk), curry puff, keropok (fried fish crackers).
