Lemang (glutinous rice with coconut milk cooked in bamboo over fire) is eaten during the Muslim festival of Eid or Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji with beef rendang and serunding (dried meat floss).
While driving from Kijal to Cherating we stop as the lemang stall and wanted to buy satar (made from fish, coconut stuff in the coconut leaves and grill over fire).
There is also a few staff selling air nira (young coconut water) and keropok too.
