Favorite thing: A recreational area with cute and naughty monkeys around to amuse you. You won’t miss this place if you visit Telaga Simpul because the beach is located nearby. The beach is not really nice compared to other beaches in Terengganu but it is a recreational area where you can find some amenities.

Favorite thing: Terengganu are well known for it beautiful beaches. One of them is Pantai Teluk Bidara. We didn’t had the chance to spend a longer time here because it was getting dark soon and there was a long way to our destination. But we would definitely come again to this beautiful beach if we had the chance in future.

Favorite thing: Some people said that the giant leatherback turtle would lay their eggs from July to September during a full moon. We got the chance to watch it in August. I guess that we were lucky!
It's kinda sad watching the turtle laying her eggs, she looked like she was crying! Mum believed that she cried because she knows that she would not have the chance to see her babies again and not just because of sand in her eyes. It’s sad to see when some human beings lost their common senses and keep on disturbing the turtle when she lays her eggs…

Favorite thing: The fishing village is ideal for nature lover. If you like to paint, maybe you should bring along your stuff and do the painting on the spot…or at least don’t forget to bring your camera!

Favorite thing: I guess many people will not miss visiting the floating mosque even when there is the Crystal Mosque now because it’s much easier to find. It’s near the roadside along Jalan Sultan Mahmud and said to be about 4km from Terengganu Town Center.

Favorite thing: Since you will invariably have some time to kill at this transit stop, best to wander about and try to make some new friends... (The locals are quite friendly)
I succeeded in making two new friends during our stops in KT, one a small cute boy in the market place....

Favorite thing: Best to enjoy this view. Being that there are two ferries a day, it is likely that you will be waiting around on the docks here for quite a while before you can catch the next ferry to Pulau Redang.
If you do have a few hours to kill, there is an outdoor market and a couple of small restaurants nearby.

Favorite thing: ...and the other a small cat with striking green eyes...
OK, I'll admit that I bribed this "new friend" with a piece of chicken satay if he would kindly mug for the camera...
