From Kuala Lumpur you can take either MAS or Airasia to Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu. Travel with comfort with MAS...cost around MYR550 (to n fro), or you can choose the budget airlines Airasia...cost around MYR300 to n fro. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to KT is just around 1 hour. Some of you might have heard that I spend quite sizable amount to maintain this car and the consumption of gas may be beyond average Malaysian cars. But this car nonetheless is a reliable car to travel almost 1,600KM in 5 days time (with 2.5days resting at Kuala Besut Jetty parking lot. This old faithful of mine travel almost every significant roads of Peninsular Malaysia (be it Road #1, #5, #2 and all that).
