Attire to Mosque
I am not entirely expert in Muslim faith. But living in Malaysia, we have high racial tolerance as well as different faith as our way of life.
There are some do and don't in most mosques and gender differentiation is especially strict in states of Kelantan & Terengganu.
The sign actually show some DO & DON'T in universal language (diagram).
Phew, save me the efforts of explaining all this.

Devoted Muslims here
Most of the people here are very devoted to Islam, so please be careful in choosing your attire while walking around the state (unless you're on the islands...).
Long/quarter pants...skirts n a decent tops will do while traveling around.
No Footwear On Board!
I heard somewhere that any fisherman going fishing in ‘Monsoon Season’ must avoid using any footwear before boarding the ship, to ward off bad luck or they might not catch any fish at all.
