As the groceries and goods are being transported from the main land and we the tourist do not have a choice even. Foods, cigarettes and mineral waters are being sold in higher price than the mainland. This what I had experienced during my last visit.
Fun Alternatives: Buy few packets of cigarettes & water before boarding the boat to Pulau Kapas. For foods, we still need to buy from the island.
