There are also a few small shops where you can have your meals too. There are no fancy restaurants for dine dining.

On Long Beach, there are a number of restaurants right on the beach, most showing movies at night. They all do cheap, good food, and most have a fresh fish bbq at night! approx 8RM!!! only £1.50! One restaurant does a mars bar ice shake which is MASSIVE, very nice too, although a little sickly by the end! Note that there is hardly any alcohol on the islands. A couple of restaurants may have some in a fridge but generally it is hard to get hold of and expensive. Either bring some or use your time here to dry out! You'll soon be back in KL or Bangkok for more drinking! |
Meals will be serve daily in buffet for Breakfst, Lunch and Dinner. Hassle free for those who choose fullboard package.

Nice ambience for Abdul's restaurant by seaside. Recommend to bring your favorite instant cafes so to enjoy your coffees in the morning or teas. 1pot of hot water costs RM 0.50 to 1.00. Instant porridge also does well with their hot water.

This is my favorite lunch stop after snorkeling trip! Located right on the beach, with coconut trees around, it is just a perfect place to take a break after the snorkeling session.
Sit down with your feet in the sand and enjoy the food while looking out to the sea. The seabreeze here is amazing!
I love the fried rice here and also the long beans fried in belacan. Simple local dishes with a flavor!

Although I had my food everytime the meals are served, I still have some side orders in this restaurant. They served nice set meals. If you like spagetti, sandwiches, tom yam, ice cream..... I never miss these in three days. If you plan to have your lunch/ dinner, take your seat early as sometimes the restaurant is full of people. The waiter is friendly and you may ask him to take your order. The restaurant at New Cocohut resort, close to Tuna Bay, is located partly over water, and when it gets dark only candles light the tables. It is maybe even a bit too dark, but that kind of creates the excitement factor that one can’t actually see properly what one is eating ;). Anyway, it is very atmospheric to dine by the water edge.
They have an evening barbecue and you can choose from chicken, prawns, fish and the sauce you want, and the barbecue also includes rice, coleslaw and watermelon. The food is good and reasonably priced. Especially the king fish was delicious. Even though the food was nice, we only ate here once as the service is excruciatingly slow and unprofessional. Don’t get me wrong, they are not rude, but nothing just seems to happen and there is a limit to what we’re willing to wait even though we’re on holiday. We ended up going to the counter ourselves to pay the bill, because it seemed impossible to attract the waiting staff’s attention.
