Any: Beach restaurants that Grill Fresh Seafood!!

by hasthetravelbug Written Jul 7, 2004

Fresh fish is displayed and you choose what you want, pick a sauce, and a side and they grill it for you. I must have had 6 dinners this way and every time the fish was amazing and so fresh! A very cheap way to eat grilled fish....Compared to home...

Favorite Dish: I loved the Squid and of course any of the fish...(Baracuda etc...)

Cocohut Restauramt: Milkshakes @ Cocohut Restaurant

by Uade Updated Jul 29, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Its a cosy little cafe-like restaurant with great food. The person in charge, a lady by the name of Miss Lee was very helpful and friendly person, and I enjoyed talking to her alot about the island.

Favorite Dish: I found the best Milkshakes in Cocohut Travel at RM6.50-7 !!!! Its a must try because its just superb. I went there to try every flavour for every meal, painstakingly trekking through the jungle to reach there. The chocolate sneaker milkshake is superb, the mango one is most favourite. Must try the pineaple and water melon too! No regrets! The tomyam soup is nice and serving is generous too. Try it!
