  • I thought that one of the great things about being on Redang was that there really was nothing touristy to buy. Sure there were some small shops with t-shirts and other cheap knick-knacks, but we were hard-pressed to find decent postcards. Which was fine by us.

    This is one of the two gift shops in Redang Pelangi Resort with many flies inside because the main door is not closed.

    They sell some local crafts, T-shirts, snacks, drinks and etc.

    Probably some tidbits or canned drinks if you crave for them.

    They are definitely less than MYR10.

    This is a mini-mart cum souvenir shop. You will find most of the things you want to buy here but this place is crowded because it belongs to the largest resort at Pasir Panjang beach and the location was once the shooting site for one of the famous Hong Kong's movie starring Sammi Cheng and Ritchie Ren. The shop is pretty stuffy but it is a good place to take a photo due to its colourful building and fame.

    Anything you like but it is more expensive than other resort gift shops unless you cannot find them elsewhere.

    Expect to pay more than other resort gift shops.

    It is air-conditioned with no flies inside!

    If you wish to get some snacks or drinks, this is one of the mini-marts in Redang island you will like to patronise.

    Most of the things sold are under MYR10.

    This is my favourite souvenir shop in Redang simply because there are many things to shop (eg. beach wear, T-shirts, singlets, fridge magnets, key chains, flip-flops and etc) and you flies are not present here unlike some other shops.

    I like to collect fridge magnets and their T-shirts here are unique.

    Fridge magnet costs around MYR7 and T-shirt is range from MYR20 onwards.
