BerjayaAir by xuessium I bought a free & easy flight package, available from Singapore-based tour agencies, including flights, 2 nights hotel stay (deluxe garden room) in Berjaya Redang Resort, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners and 1 snorkelling session for S$528 (including taxes and surcharges but not including a MYR5 for Marine Park entry fee). Berjaya Air flies direct from Singapore Seletar Airport (not to be confused with Singapore Changi Airport) to Pulau Redang Airport once a day in the afternoon, every Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun. The journey takes 1.5 hours each way on board a Dash-7 plane, served by 2 stewardesses. The return flight is on the same days except that it is in the morning. There are coaches transporting passengers between Pulau Redang Airport and the hotel. Leave a Comment

taken during one of our morning walks by dimanche unless you're going for snorkelling trips, the best transportation one is going to have is one's own two feet! a morning walk to catch the sunrise is quite a good feeling to experience. the air is superbly fresh, the roar of the waves will gently wake you up and you can take a look at the other resorts on the island. you can also go up this little cliff to have a bird eye's view of the island. during other times of the day, the powdery soft sand makes walking be not a chore but an enjoyment. :D Leave a Comment Theme: Other

You can get to Redang island from Singapore by car/bus/coach/taxi/plane follow by boat or ferry. Transnasional VIP coach price is SGD33 one way for 9-10 hours. Daily 9 pm departure from Kallang Bahru bus station to Kuala Terengganu bus station. Deluxe coach is SGD26 one way. Chidren under 12 is half price. It is cheaper to book your return ticket to Singapore in Kuala Terengganu bus station. VIP coach is RM42. Most effective way to buy your coach tickets from Singapore (SIN) to Kuala Terengganu (KT) is to go to Lavender Street, off Kallang Bahru Lorry Park to buy your tickets and be at the boarding point 30 minutes before departure. From SIN to KT is SGD36 and return is SGD15.10. Total is SGD51.50 Daily departure at 9am, 8pm and 9pm. Leave a Comment

Boats going to Pulau Redang island, Malaysia by victorwkf The boat trip to Pulau Redang starts at a jetty near to Merang and it takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach Pulau Redang. The trip can be quite bumpy due to the strong current so be prepared, especially if you have motion sickness. Leave a Comment Theme: Ship/Boat

by xuessium Disclaimer: I HAVE NOT DONE THIS; BUT SHARING INFO I GATHERED FROM FRIENDS WHO DID It is a more than 10 hours journey (about 11 hours covering 590kms) as you make your way via coach from Singapore to Kuala Trengganu in Trengganu, Malaysia. You'll reach Kuala Trengganu very early in the morning and will have to wait a few hours for your ferry to cross the sea to get to Pulau Redang from Merang Jetty. There is only one coach serving this sector: Transnasional (no known website) operating out of Lavender Street Bus Station, off Kallang Bahru, arriving at Stesyen Bas Ekspres Tanjung, Kuala Trengganu. Daily services. You can purchase Transnasional return coach tickets from their ticket office and departure point at Lavender Street Bus Station. Only "economy" class coach tickets are available for their 3 daily services.Time leaving Singapore: 9.00am, 8.00pm & 9.00pm. Price of ticket: adult: S$51.90; child: S$25.90.
