Central market: Buying local foodstuff
If you want to buy any local foodstuff like keropok, cuttlefish, biscuits etc, go to the central market. head for the wet market where they have all sorts of stuff. It's like a wholesale market. It's really cheap there.Some interesting stuff - they sell turtle eggs there. Also, there's this stall selling black longish nut (looks like *** or black caterpillar to me) which supposedly tastes either bitter or sweet. I dunno, I never did dare to try, although my friends did. Keropok goes for about RM 10 for 3 packs. If you buy elsewhere, it may be RM6 per pack.
