Restoran Amituofoh is a Buddhist vegetarian restaurant located at Kota Laksamana approximately 150 meters northwest of Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre at Bandar Hilir in the city of historic Melaka. It serves delicious buffét style vegetarian meals especially fried noodles free of charge. Payment is made by donation! You do not have to pay any penny if you do not have money at all! Kantin Stesyen Highland, Genting Highlands: Budget local food at resort

by hopang

Kantin Stesyen Highland (Station Highland Canteen in English) is located next to the Theme Park Hotel and Outdoor Theme Park in Genting Highlands Resort in the state of Pahang. As Genting Highlands Resort is a tourist resort and destination packed with gamblers, prices of food and drinks at most cafés and restaurants in the resort are comparatively more expensive than those in the city of Kuala Lumpur. You may find this canteen serving delicious local food at reasonable price. The canteen caters principally for bus and taxi drivers plying the route between Kuala Lumpur and Genting Highlands as well as the staff and workers of the resort. Some of the food served in the canteen are fried noodles, roti chanai (local bread), nasi lemak, fried rice, assam laksa etc.

Newton Hawker Center, Melaka: Local delicacies

by hopang

Newton Hawker Center is located at Jalan Parameswara in Bandar Hilir not far from A' Famosa, St. Paul's Hill and major international hotels and shopping centres in the historic city of Melaka. This is the old Newton Hawker Center which is more established. Nevertheless a new Newton Hawker Center is located within a stone's throw from Hotel Holiday Inn at Melaka Raya.Budget local food which is rather delicious and appetizing is available at the old Newton hawker centre daily in the evening and at night. The food is very popular with the locals who do not want to cook at home. Examples of such food are Malay Satay, Hainanese chicken rice, Yong Tao Foo, Char Kuey Teow (fried noodles), fried chicken wings, Wanton noodles, and drinks such as ice kachang to quench your thirst! Make it a point to savour some local food when you are in Melaka for your vacation! Yong Tao Foo, Wanton noodles,...

Pak Tam Kopitiam Seremban 2: Most Delicious Mee Bandung

by hsunleong

It is so delicious, so tasty and yummy! I believed they use a lots of prawn to make this superb "kuah". No wonder there are many of them ordered this delicious food. I finished all the mee and "kuah". Its like a mirror when you look at the empty dish. Mee Bandung is the best. Besides the Mee Bandung, their drinks serve to you well too. Indeed, Kao-kao Kopi! If you couple it with their famous Hainam-roti which is baked, you will fly~.

R & K Restaurant at Seremban brance: Must order Famous and delicious Satay

by hsunleong

Satay is prepare just at the corner of the front right shop and about 20 meters away. Which means you are clean! Interior design i would say good. All are in antique furnitures, items hanging around the wall also. Guess what? Wooden Wall. It offers varieties of especially its' Satay, Tomyam soup and Hainam noodle. Tomyam soup! I would say it is just wonderful. More importantly, it can be accepted by most people due to not too hot but tasty. Indeed, I like it. Admittedly, I myself could not take too much of hot food. Undoubtedly, Satay is one of the famous and delicious food in Malaysia. In Malaysia we can have a lots of delicious food everywhere. Coming back to the Satay. Hmmm.... Ma ma mi ya. Its extremely good taste. I like the taste and fragrant of "serai" and ginger. They put lots of it but absolutely right amount. Tips for those who really want to try Satay in this Restaurant....

PERANAKAN'S CUISINE

by ancient_traveler

The Nyonya food that you can find in Kuala Lumpur comes from Malacca's rich Peranakan culture. The Nyonya style of cooking is the result of a fusion between Chinese and Malay ingredients and recipes, the result of Chinese traders in the past settling in Malacca and adopting the Malay way of living.

Golden Sands Resort Cafes / Restaurants: Eat Like a King

by BrideTObee

All of the Restaurants at the Golden sands resort are simply amazing - you get fed so much food you would be think that you are eating like royalty. The staff are always very friendly and warm in welcoming you to the restaurant and you never seem to run out of beverages or have a dirty dish on your table. Top service no matter which one you go to. The prices are very very reasonable aswell. I would recommend trying all of the places to eat at the Golden Sands as each one has its own unique experience. you will also find that on different nights they serve different foods so it is a good idea to ask the host/ess what they serve on each of the nights so you dont miss out on one of their fantastic meals There are so many wonderful dishes throughout all of the restaurants at the Golden Sands resort.I like the Sigis By the Sea (Seafood) Buffet dinner.but my favourite dish would be the Pool...

MAREDO'S STEAKHOUSE - KUALA LUMPUR: GREAT STEAKS !

by DAO

A taste of Argentina in KL! Maredo’s Steakhouse is fantastic. Its open style means you sit outside, but are protected from the rain. Service is the best I have ever experienced. My waiter poured me a new glass of wine every time it approached being empty. The food is well priced, good sized and excellent! The long wooden bar is also nice. For the cigar smoker, they also have a humidor as well. And wines! They offer some top South American wines to top off your meal and it’s all very affordable. If you only have 1 night in KL, eat here! Surf and Turf! A tender steak cooked to perfection, half of a delicious lobster and a nice bottle of Casillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon (Concha y Toro). Perfection!!!

Ramly Burger: BURGER! Local taste

by xuessium

You can't be in Malaysia and be ignorant of the presence of Ramly Burger, the local chain made good by selling burgers with a distinct local flavour. The Ramly Burger was created by Ramly Moknin and it most commonly refers to the Ramly Burger Special ("Burger Istimewa"). While the amount and type of ingredients vary greatly depending on location, a typical Ramly Burger consists of a beef ("daging") or chicken ("ayam") patty, margarine, onions, an egg, cabbage, mayonnaise, and Maggi's special soya sauce (kinda reminiscent of Worcestershire sauce). BURGER Ramly started out in 1979 as a small family business operated from a mobile kiosk on Lorong Haji Hussin in Kuala Lumpur. The family recipe soon became a hit among Malaysians. The Ramly Burger is distinctive from most other hamburgers due to the unique way in which the ingredients are served. Rather than the usual method of stacking the...
