  • There are so many shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur that you will be spoilt for choice.

Whether you want to buy electrical goods or Malaysian goods so you will guarenteed of lots of choice.

Electrical items are significantly cheap than back home.

  • Selection upon selection upon collections of well-priced S-H-O-E-S...'nuff said.

At these local-brand shops, prices start from USD6 and rarely go above USD50. Expect the prices to dip by a further 20% should you luck out and step in during a Sale... :)))

  • Its all fake so be prepared for poor quality. But can get really cheap CD, DVDs and designer gear. You must bargain, DONT accept first price offered but don't argue too much, its a bit of an insult. Be careful about buying DVDs, they may not work and make sure they are compatible with the DVD player

    CD, DVD, designer handbags.

  • Though there are plenty of places in KL to do some inexpensive shopping believe me none of th goods you buy lst longer than a month. The only experience we had otherwise was with this store in Petronas which offered good deals for good merchandise.

    handbags, cosmetics

  • I didn't spend much time here but if you're looking for shopping that you can't find anywhere else I don't know if this is it. While the stores were very nice they were exactly the same as you would find in any large shopping center in the US or most other countries... complete with Starbucks.

    Authentic designer outfits and items

    Same as elsewhere

Low Yat Plaza: THE place to go shopping for Electronics
    SanguiniA
  • By SanguiniA on December 15, 2004

  • This place is really famed for the electronics - and you won't be disappointed - there is really plenty to choose from and are all ultra modern!

What really impressed me was the floor on which they were selling computers - it was packed and there were plenty of stalls outside selling computers as if selling sweets in the market - incredible. Computers - of all shapes, sizes and specifications were on display and my jaws dropped when I saw the prices - real cheap!
Everyone was distributing flyers with the latest crazy offers!

Any gadget you need you can buy from here - there are even plenty of mobile phones (no need to buy with a contract).

As in the rest of Malaysia, rest assured that you will find plenty of English speaking shopkeepers ready to help you make your purchase!
