CENTRAL MARKET

by ancient_traveler

Central Market, a cultural and shopping center, is the best place to witness Malaysian culture, art and craft. A variety of goods are sold here, including handicrafts, souvenirs and art, all at reasonable prices. Amid the stalls selling souvenirs are small outlets where Malaysian artists display their works. Visitors may even have their portrait painted or order custom-made crafts.

Central Market: Fixed price but Cheaper

by honeymoon4ever

What I came to realize after shopping the day before in Petaling Street, the Central market has cheaper prices than in Chinatown but the prices are fixed, can't bargain anymore. Good thing here are the arts and crafts of Malaysia not found in Chinatown. The building is air-conditioned so its a lot comfortable to shop here than in Petaling st.

Jalan Masjid India > Material Heaven

by arwenlynn

Many stuffs! Raw material, bags, shoes, jewelery, brooches, home furnishing, food and drinks. They also have departmental stores(fixed price). Everything is cheap. If your bargain skill are good u can get even cheaper. There are also stalls selling local delicacies. I have been here for many many times and was never disappointed.

Chinatown: Be in Armani...Be in Chinatown

by KissRizz

Also known as Chinatown, Petaling Street is one of Kuala Lumpur's most popular tourist destinations. In the evenings, a line of stalls come to live in front of the pre-war shops, offering products of every description, from fake leather goods to the obligatory "Dunhill" watches. The area attracts many locals and visitors in search of bargain items, including inexpensive dresses, shoes, fabrics and souvenirs. It transforms itself into a bustling and lively night market when part of the road is closed to traffic at about 6pm. This place is the place where I can get alot of cheap things.T-shirts,souvenirs and anything you can get here. You don't have to worry about getting the rain because Chinatown at Petaling street is covered. It is definately at this place where you can bargain and get all the cheap prices things here.Have fun... im really bad at bargain...but heaven for Good...
