Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You're probably on your way white-water rafting so you should be wearing slippers or sandals-your shoes will get wet in the river.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Toilet paper or tissues at least is always necessary in Sabah, and Beaufort will be no exception. Also, for those not used to world class Malaysian mosquitoes, insect repellant. Some also bring sunblock, as the rafting trip can be done under the bright hot sunshine.
Photo Equipment: I wouldn't bring a video camera as you'll leave all equipment in store when you go rafting-a good digital camera with video function should suffice. The rafting people sell you good photos of you in a raft as well. If you're staying on in Beaufort, then by all emans bring the video camera.
