Lorong Bank - parking spaces and murals

by DaHongHua Written Sep 22, 2014

There are many banks in this area so the wider road is call Jalan Bank and the narrow street is Lorong Bank. We are there not for banking but to find a car parking space as we are going to the Sunday Gaya Market.
Some young artists painted on the wall. Some old building will soon be demolish for new one.

A walk along the waterfront at sunset

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

A well constructed promenade adjacent to Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen offers a very pleasant sunset walk before heading off to dinner on the waterfront. The walk takes you past street vendors, the handicraft centre and right into the waterfront esplanade where there are several restaurants to choose from.
Views across to the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park are sensational as the sun gradually moves towards the horizon.

    Kota Kinabalu side walk.

A pleasant promenade with an open air food court, facing South China Sea and Pulau Gaya, nice place for walking and enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Kota.
