Well, here's something to take note of, be responsible towards the conservation effort being put forward to protect the sea!
-No wearing of gloves while diving.
-No touching or chasing turtle(s).
-Not to deliberately touch any corals on the reef.
-Not to dive too close to the reef to cause damage to it with fins or camera equipment.
-Not to hold onto, rest upon or kneel on any part of the coral reef.
-Not to rest any camera equipment on the coral reef.
-Comply with the Divemasters instruction to move back from the reef.
-Deliberately disregarding any of the above rules, a verbal warning will be given by the Dive Operations Manager.
-If seen deliberately damaging the reef after verbal warning is given, diving at Layang-Layang will be prohibited.
Bird Sanctuary:
-Do not disturb, chase, pick eggs or new born chicks and trample on the breeding ground.

It can be very windy on the Island, so please remember to keep dry and warm on land. The resort provides you unlimited supply of towels for your comfort. After a dive, it's better to rinse yourself quickly and dry yourself up immediately. I caught cold the first day for acting macho.

Please be careful, the water was so clear you'll think you're diving at 20m but in actual you're already at 40m. Further the down current was fairly strong, you'll easily hit 45-50m without notice. To ascent from the deep, you'll need consistant effort. Kick at a relaxed pace and be consistant, you'll slowly ascent to safer depth. The ultimate allowable depth by the divemaster was 40m, watch your computer and tank pressure closely, don't fall into a situation where you don't have enough air to complete your decompression stop. The divemasters have the right to ban you from diving.
