CARRY SUFFICIENT FRESH BOTTLED WATER WITH YOU

BE VERY CAREFUL When purchasing fresh bottled water here ALWAYS make sure that you check the seals on the tops (caps) of the bottles to make sure that they have not been broken and the bottle subsequently refilled with tap water....The water here is very dodgy and it can make you very sick...I KNOW ...I was in a hurry to catch the boat and hurriedly purchased the water..I got caught out and paid the price for three days..
DO NOT DRINK LOCAL TAP WATER NOT EVEN FOR CLEANING YOUR TEETH

WATCH THE SUNBURN Be extremely careful here when on the beach and laying in the sunshine, as the sun is exceptionally strong .. I saw some really bad "sunburns" here..make sure that you have and use a good strong sunscreen..and don't underestimate this tropical sunshine it's much stronger..Especially when snorkelling..

AVOID THIS ISLAND

The water is filled with garbage left by the day trippers. The food is horrible at the only place to eat on the island, and the sewer backs up near the restaurant and the smell of human feces permeates the room. The chalets do not have electricity for 12 hours a day, and the room turns into a veritable hot box. Avoid this island!
