The biggest spectacle in the Crocodile Farm is the Big Crocodile Show that you can see two or three times a day in the central pool. Around the pool there are benches where you can sit down and enjoy the show.
Two artists enter the pool with two crocodiles in it. There they show lots of skills that can be breathtaking, not particularly because of beauty, but mostly because of danger. You can often see the fear in the eyes of the men.
First they tie up the mouth of the smaller Croc. The biggest one, an animals with a length of at least 3 metres, is the big star of the show. They make him open its mouth, because crocodile (almost) never attack humans with their mouth opened. Then, very carefully, they lie on the back of the animals, stick their hand in its mouth, brush its teeth and sit on it.
The smaller crocodile later is even a star in a dancing act on the traditional song "Jambatan do Tamparuli".

At the leftside of the Crocodile Farm you will see a large pool with lots of large animals. This are some of the oldest ones in the park, and obviously some of the most hungry ones. Eight times a day you can see the feeding time of the animals here:
- 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, 16:15 and 16:45.
It's impressive to see how quick the animals suddenly became as soon as their is food around: the caretaker really has to watch out for the animals. At the same time it is a funny sight to see how clumbsy the crocs look when they are trying to get hold of a fish. They have to move their head completely vertically and when they eat they only can move their mouth vertically, not horizontally.
From the bridge over the pool you have a very good view of the animals.

With 1.000 crocodiles of course you need an enormous amount of food. The animals are carnivores so in a special pool thousands of fish are breeded.
The pool in at the back of the park. You can buy food here to feed them and one single hand of food make the fish go wild. They jump out of the water with hundreds at a time to get a little bit of food. It a funny sight to see the slippery black fish swarm over and uder eachother. One bag of food costs 1 RM.

Of course the Taman Buaya Tuaran (Park Crocodile Tuaran) is all about the crocs. All around the area you'll see pools with the animals in all sizes. The park has over 1.000 of them.
Don't expect the Crocodiles to be in a natural environment. Instead they are kept in square, concrete pools with lots of other animals in small spaces, but if you see how they hardly move its understandable that they don't even need a lot of space.
The crocs are separated based on age. One pool has 1 years olds, the next one has the 2 year olds and so on. The biggest ones are animals over 25 years old.
Some special pools are filled with disabled animals. The park has Crocodiles without eyes, without a tail or without one or more legs.

Behind the mainsquare you'll see two houses, built in traditional Sabahan construction styles. The first one is only meant to show the construction, but the second one also has entertainment inside.
The second house, in the corner of the park, has shows with Sabahan dances at several times a day:
- From Monday to Saturday at 11:30 and 15:30
- At Sundays and Public Holidays at 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30
During these shows you can see dances of different tribes of the State, and you can try the "bamboo-dance" yourself: dance between moving bamboo sticks at the rhythm of the music, without your feet getting stuck.

Immediately after you enter the park, you will enter a little square where you can see and do several things:
You can take a picture with a live snake. Of course the mouth of this animals of about 1,5 metres of length is sealed so it's no danger, but it's really nice to feel the structure of the animal like that.
You can also take a picture with a (dead) crocodile. The animal in the park is a huge one: more then 3 metres long. It was killed when it was 40 years old after it ate a person near a small village in the inlands of Borneo.
And you can see other animals like other snakes in aquariums elsewhere on the square.
