Favorite thing: First thing head down to the waterfront. It is busy, clean and entertaining. All along the waterfront there are restaurants, food centers, shops and old colonial buildings. To cross the river to visit Fort Margherita take a tambang (ferry).

Favorite thing: You do not have to worry about getting hungry at wee hours!

You can find many 24 hours eating outlets offering delicious food...tantalising your taste bud! It's simply delicious! Not only that...it's reasonably cheap, too!

What a great place to pamper your tummy...hehe Your tummy will love you when you get back home! ;-)

Fondest memory: Ahhh...you really want to know??? Well, one of my fondest memory was when I had heaps and heaps of fun, partying the whole nite thru together with my friends, both local and ex-pats at Tribes, a fun pub at Holiday Inn Kuching with real cool bands (Headwinds from KL) performing. That was the time I simply can't get enough sleep from all those parties...hehe ;-)

Also a modern looking city

Kuching's skyline

Favorite thing: Kuching is the capital of the State of Sarawak, teh biggest of Malaysia. Apart from its exotism, it looks also quite modern. They have built a lot of high buildings by the river. Most of them host hotels that belong to those ubiquitous international hotel chains, like Holiday Inn or Hilton.

Fondest memory: When dusk arrives, even those ugly buildings become beautiful when reflected on the Sarawak river.

another one of the thousand churches in Kuching

Favorite thing: This is another church in the outer area of Kuching that I saw on the way to visit the aborigine villages, I saw at least 20 such churches along the way, some are in bigger scale.
