See the slient strangler?

The vines pose a much bigger threat to their host - the big prehistoric trees of Taman Negara. Like a telemarketeer, this annoying vice like creature will creep on their host with a vice-like grip and demand for attention, erm, in this case, sunlight.

The tree found its long lost love at last..

See what I told you? Don't go abusing the vines unless you want to be eaten like a Big Mac. Here's our guide after he swung on one vine too many. But seriously, this good-humoured chap was just enacting a scene from the "Little Shop of Curiosities". These vines pose a bigger threat to..

Ma, can I bring this home?

Other than gigantic leaves, the creeping vines around in this prehistoric jungle are enormous . It can even bear the weight of a small child. But honestly, don't go swinging off the vine after you've seen this picture if you weigh like Fat Bastard*, for crying out loud.Like the corals in a marine park, the greenery here is protected.

Getting a tattoo at Lubok Simpon

If you grind a piece of clay long enough between two rocks, you just might create enough ink to create a butterfly tattoo on your friend's back. You'll find lots of clay pebbles on a river bank.
