Don't get me wrong, I'm a birder so I'm not talking about birds when I mentioned nasty winged creatures in a jungle! I'm talking about mossies, hornets, bees...you know the typical creatures that Pixar Art love to use to entertain children.But don't be fooled by Hollywood, kids, these creatures can totally destroy your jungle experience by giving you a nasty sting. Just steer clear of these insects and their honeycombed nests and douse yourself with lots of mosquito repellant.

There are many fallen trees in the forested trails of the Tanjung Tuan Nature Reserve. It can be a pain to cross a trail with a tree since you have to look out for scorpions, leeches, snakes on these dead trees. More so when you're carrying a camera, monopod and binos in search of forest birds.
