Caving in the Dark Caves - A nice experience
Favorite thing: The Dark Caves (or Batu Caves) is one of the few limestone caves in Malaysia. It is situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
It is a place of worship for the Hindus.
However, for those who are interested in caving and wants to know what exactly is caving, then, go to the Dark Caves. From March 2001, the Malaysia Nature Society started to provide adventure and educational tours to the general public and tourists (they only cater to school students last time).
It was a nice and memorbale experience for me. The adventure trip is FUN!!! Very FUN!!! My friends and I got all murky coz we need to crawl and slide in order to explore the cave.
For those who are interested, you may contact the Malaysia Nature Society for more information.
Fondest memory: CAVING!!!! The REAL thing, I mean. Great experience. Make an appointment with the MNS when you visit the caves.

To Batu Caves
Favorite thing: Well, for those who visited KL and didn't visit Batu Caves because it's really tiring you have to get there because it's really worth it! I guess...for me though.. 272 steep steps is very tiring but then there were many of the visitors who go up there...maybe because they just want to take picture like me..=)
Anyhow, it was a great exerience!

One of my favourite things to...
Favorite thing: One of my favourite things to visit is the Batu caves. They are on the outskirts of KL. It is a Hindu temple in a cave, at the top of a long, long, long flight of stairs. It can be quite exhausting to get up there, especially in warm weather but it is worth the effort. Watch out for the Monkeys, they can be quite aggressive (also cute).
Favorite thing: ¶Â·¬}(BATU CAVES)¡GBATU CAVES was found before 100 years. There attract many tourist which never end untile now.
BATU CAVES is is near about 13 miles from Kuala Lumpur. They are made by many caves. The famouse caves was Temple cave which was made up by giant limestone.
You have to climb about 272 of ladders to reach top of it.There are many religious belevers came here already and total 80,000 vtourists had visited here so far.
Nature in the city
Favorite thing: A striking aspect for Europeans in tropical cities is that, in spite of all the modernisation and development, Nature manages to make its way into the urban sprawl. Lots of tropical birds fly in the city gardens and even a community of macaques has made of the Batu Caves their home.
Batu Caves during Thaipusam...
Favorite thing: Batu Caves during Thaipusam festival (Jan/Feb) and Ampang during God of the Ninth Emperor festival (Oct).
It is a unique cultural experience that you'll never forget irregardless of your background or race. These festivals will actually stimulate all your five senses - sight of the colourful celebration, smell of the burning incense, sound of the neverending chant and drum and so on. It's definitely an opportunity not to missed if you are here at the right time......you can even forget all the other usual tourist spots.
Fondest memory: Definitely THE FOOD - expect a wide variety of food ranging from the hot and spicy to sweet and tangy.
Mamak stalls (of Indian Muslim variety) is availble 24 hours a day along the roadside - some decent ones are hygenic enough to be given a try. Normally serve 'roti canai' (Indian version of bread) with some thick bean sauce, 'nasi lemak' (coconut mikl rice with some hot and spicy condiment) and the famous 'teh tarik' (tea served with milk and PULLED).
