Fondest memory: Both myself and my friend Claudia were inappropriately dressed for a visit to the National Mosque.
The people at the mosque very kindly leant us some robes, including a headscarf for Claudia. We resembled a couple from biblical times, I thought!
I adopted an appropriately sombre expression for the photo.

Favorite thing: Here I am, inside the National Mosque. I was suprised here, because I had made a point of wearing long pants, and a sleeved shirt and I STILL had to put all of this on. I was very warm! We enjoyed wandering around this large, modern mosque. It also afforded great views of KL's skyline, and varied architectural styles.

Favorite thing: Visit the Masjid Negara (The National Mosque).
Masjid Negara is one of the largest mosques in SE Asia. This modern looking building (completed in 1965) with its beautiful interior, located behind the railway station, consists of a prayer hall, mausoleum, library, and offices. It has a 75m minaret. - Jl. Sultan Hishamuddin - Tel. +60 (3) 22-82-49
