Favorite thing: Hi
Kuala Lumpur City Centre is condsidered as the main downtown of Kuala Lumpur today. Kuala Lumpur city centre consists of Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis Towers, Suria KLCC Shopping Centre, The Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Traders Hotel, Recreational park and a mosque. So within the KLCC vicinity there are two hotels, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and Traders Hotel by Shangril-La.
For 5 star hotel choose the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. Do acknowledge that Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and Mandarin Hotel Kuala Lumpur are two different hotels in two different areas. there are numbers of hotels at the surrounding of the KLCC area such as The Ascott Kuala Lumpur, Impiana KLCC Spa and Hotel, PNB Darby Park, The Zone Apartment and Suites, Nikko Hotel (JAL), The Corus Kuala Lumpur, The Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur.
I would suggests u to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur as it located next to Suria KLCC Shopping Centre that adjacent to Petronas Twin Towers. Suria KLCC have numbers of international restaurants, two foodcourts, fastfoods, Cineplex (TGV), major retailers (Isetan & Parkson),exclusive boutique (BVLGARI,CHOPARD, LV, CHANEL, GUCCI, Emporio Armani; to name few), supermarkets (Cold Storage and Isetan), bookshops (Kinokuniya and Times), discovery centre (Petrosains), art gallery and lrt stations (KLCC) too!. its also located within walking distance to night spot area in Jalan Tun Perak (Beach, Modestos, Nuovo) and Jalan Ampang (Zouk KL). For local food adventure, go to Kampong Baru and Pasar Chow Kit (local wet market) or Tunku Abdul Rahman Road at Saturday evening.
Hope this will help u.

Favorite thing: The Petronas towers are a must-see but it's always crowded in the morning.Try going there around 10pm-12midnight.The stores should be closed by then and you will have a chance to get better pictures without the crowd. Best view point would be the side facing the National Bank.

Favorite thing: Normally people go KLCC for shoppe,F&B and taking photo....its happen to me as well.
There is a petrosains located at the top floor of KLCC suria. It's a science center. Discovery local Petronas Company about the petrol plantations, research and technology. How to process petroleum and more. Quite interesting. It is open daily 10am-5pm. Last entry is about 5pm. I took about 3hours plus to go around. I think is not enough time for this....4-5hours is just nice. RM12 per pax is not a big figure....

Favorite thing: My favourite is the Petronas Twin Towers! They glisten with pride in the hot afternoon and welcome travellers from near and far! What a beautiful civil achievement for Kuala Lumpur!
Fondest memory: I still remember when KL didn't have the Twin Towers. I still remember the feeling of stepping of the LRT and into the Towers for the first time! Pure excitement!

Fondest memory: While admiring the view of KL from the Petronas Towers I suddenly noticed the painter outside. Standing precariously in a small bucket secured by wire ropes and swinging around in the breeze he was painting the outside of the building using a brush tied to a long stick. I tried to find out how much he earnt! Having a great fear of heights myself I wouldn't do this job for any amount of money.

Fondest memory: The viewing platform in the Petronas Towers is on the Sybridge that links the twin towers on the 42nd floor.
The bridge itself has 2 levels. The lower level is for casual observers and the upper level is for office workers who need to get between the 2 towers.

Favorite thing: Many tourist would love to get to the Petronas Sybridge - you have to get early and go get the tickets. It opens around 8-ish in the morning and they give the tickets for free..at the KLCC Petronas building - near the Philharmonic. There is sometimes great demand, but you will be given tickets for a couple of hours later. So do plan your ady ahead.
They allow 20 pax per car lift to get up, so you have to be there 15 minutes before your schedule visit up. You can take lots of pictures from above....

Favorite thing: Visit the Twin Towers. With a height of 1,453 feet, the world's tallest buildings now rise above the skyline of Kuala Lumpur. They are called the Petronas Towers, and, inevitably, they have become the symbols for the astounding growth that has taken place in Malaysia over the last two decades. As fate would have it, however, their supreme status will probably be shortlived: by the year 2001, Shanghai's World Financial Center is expected to top off at record-breaking 1,508 feet

Favorite thing: Well, no-one who comes to KL can miss the Petronas Twin Towers. The world famous tallest buildings on the planet are a sight which is visible from almost every corner of the city. The twin building is rising some 450 m into the humid tropical and usually hazy skies over KL. They are home to the state owned oil production company called Petronas. Around the company's complex there is a huge hall (KLCC), a concert hall, cinemas, a very nice park, hotels, restaurants, open-air-cafès, etc.
Fondest memory: One of my nicest meomories I keep in mind are the many evenings I have spent in front of KLCC at the café 'Dôme' enjoying the heat and the humidity of the day or evening and of course a cup of good European-style coffee...
