 | Kuala Lumpur Nightlife | Tips 61 - 70 of 337 | | Hard Rock Cafè Great live-band performances - sure fun at night. You can easily mingle with lively and cool people. Can get very crowded on weekends (but who cares if you love to mingle!). You can find alternative nightlife venue at its adjacent building or along the streets. No need to take a cab, walking is recommended as traffic is horrendous.

Now if you are tired of restaurants and pubs or adult spots, you can once a while change to watch kids racing on the street here at the Merdeka Square after 12pm. I only been here once when I drove back home late 1pm midngiht after work, I saw many motorcycle gangs here, they would race among each other for perhaps some money or perhaps just to have fun since they have nothing else more important to learn in their growing age. Watching street racing probably helps them to release some unsatisfactory in life or some other reasons coming from family, society, education.... Leave a Comment Theme: People Watching |

when the sun goes down, many places in kl come alive! some of the places to go to will be bangsar (kl's answer to hong kong's lan kwai fong or singapore's muhamed sultan road), sri hartamas (easy going atmosphere), jalan sultan ismail area (party!)..
depending on where you're going.. if it is to some laid back place like sri hartamas, then anything goes.. if it's to some hip place, put on something funky.. they might just let you in for free.. :) Leave a Comment Theme: Adult Spot |
< Petaling Street > The center of Kuala Lumpur's original Chinatown. Petaling Street maintains much of its traditional atmosphere, particularly at night when vendors spread their wares out on the street. While it is possible to purchase anything from gems and incense to toys and t-shirts here, enjoying the night market is really a matter of just wandering about and enjoying its sights, sounds, and energy. KL has a growing number of excellent bars and fashionable clubs and discos, especially in the more monied districts along Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Ampang. Bars here are often called pubs, a hangover from the British colonial presence and a draw for the British and Australian expats in the city. Many of the larger places feature live music, usually performed by Filipino bands, although a seemingly insatiable appetite for karaoke has engulfed KL recently. Beer is relatively expensive throughout KL - usually RM15 - 20 a glass - but many places have 'happy hours' where the price drops by a couple of dollars. Most bars are open throughout the day from noon onwards, and close after midnight; karaoke bars tend to open from 9pm to 1 or 2am, and don't have a cover charge. Leave a Comment Theme: Other |
Haji Taib - RLD? Note: Very important! This is an informations to foreign tourists (not for Malaysians). I'm not selling sex of Malaysia here, also it's not about prostitutions of Malaysia. I personally don't even like this place, it's very dirty to me but because I have been to this place call Jalan Haji Taib at night (introduced by a friend), so I just put this information for you Tourists as a nightlife spot or as an attraction for photographies, enjoying local foods and looking into daily life of locals. It's a place worth a look. Other than Haji Taib, you can try Sun Complex located at Bukit Bintang, there's is a shopping complex but at night it's something totally different, you can try take a walk over there and 3 to 4 guys will pop up immediately showing you some photos of 'Garfield',... Emporium is a fairly large, modern, Western style nightclub, located in a popular bar district of central Kuala Lumpur and which I visited during my first stay in KL... They have a large indoor dance hall and an outside terrace with sleek, stylish furniture and decor, complete with a well-stocked bar... Prices are comparable to those in typical Western countries... Not without appeal, but then again, nothing especially memorable about the place either... Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: 97 Jalan Sultan Ismail. |
