The best part of this club besides the uniformed personel is that every night is lady's night with free drinks until 10pm and all night on Wednesday and Thursday. The key is that they have to go to the bar to get them if they're sitting with any men.

    Bangsar: Really a nice area

    beach pub

My friends, knowing how I love drinking a couple of beers before going to sleep brought me here and I found the area really charming.
Drinks are cheaper than other Kl areas and it's full of students all around.
I also tried the KLCC area in the night, particulary the beach pub(seing the kind of offerts you get there, the spelling of beach can also be different LOL) but it was much more crowded and loud, didn't enjoy much.

It's not very big in here but the bar is in the center. The DJ console is just at the corner and he plays some really good tunes. Drinks are reasonably priced.

    Ladies nites, every Wednesday.

Bangsar is another great place to spend your night in KL. great place for cheap drinks and tons and variety of food to choose, from japanese to malay to chinese to italian you name it-they have it. Try The Roof, an open air rooftop restaurant with great food. After dinner head for bars and clubs like Voyeur and bar Flem. Voyeur spins House and RnB music on fri and sat. techno and trance on sunday

    Bangsar: Trendy Nightspot

Bangsar has a wide array of cuisine to satisfy any craving - Chinese, Indian, Malay, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, American and European. Some cater to vegetarians. Just like any other town in Malaysia, Bangsar has a good spread of local food.

Indian Muslim Mamak stalls, South Indian banana leaf restaurants and Malay warungs are easily found. They are usually cheap. Roadside hawkers usually open in the evenings and close late. Chinese kopitiam and seafood restaurants meanwhile are a little harder to find outside Lucky Garden. Alcohol (beer, stout and shandy) is usually available. Roadside stalls that serve drinks, local cakes, burgers and hotdogs and cut fruit can be found on many street corners. Ice cream, pastry, satay, rojak and milk is also sold on motorcycles and vans.

Bangsar also boasts an impressive international mix of restaurants, pubs, bars, grills, bistros, cafes, fast-food joints and coffee and ice cream parlors. Some of the countries best restaurants can be found in Bangsar. An example of this is The Mango Tree which offers world class French cuisine.

Many people from all over Kuala Lumpur come to Bangsar for a lavish dining experience which can only be found in Bangsar and Bukit Bintang. Although the prices in these restaurants are much higher than other parts of Kuala Lumpur, these restaurants are packed night after night. Bangsar has the best list of restaurants compared to anywhere else in the country.

  • Beach Club: Beach Club

by xyzzy Written Jan 11, 2008

Yes the Beach Club is a pick up joint for hookers. Mostly Filipina with a few Vietnemese, Indonesian. But every night they have a great live band and the atmosphere is always good. Filipinas know how to have a good time and if they can't find a customer they're happy to dance and have a good time.

So don't let the prostitution put you off. Go there, enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the company. Just don't forget the girls are working. Also don't forget that the girls are working for a reason so please respect that. Don't judge a person by what they do to make a living.

Only downside for me is being hassled by the taxi drivers outside who want to take you to "sexy girls" when you leave. Just say no.

Bangsar is located on the city periphery. It has plenty of bars, restaurants, pubs, cafes. They are all very well decorated and trendy. After the sunset this place starts getting busy and it remains like that till late.

    Finnegan's Pub, Bangsar, KL

Bangsar is the expat district of KL. You'll find the largest selection of western restaurants and foreigner friendly pubs here. (YOu may also find some local VT celebrities here if you look hard enough...)

    Roof Top Bangsar

One of the best nightspot in KL...just relax and enjoy the view from the top.

OR dine at the restaurant that offers Wine, cigars, oysters and yuppie chic, The Roof is a veritable haven for those with flash cars, white shirts and handphones. Beautiful wrought-iron facade and interior styled after club in Birdcage (supposedly). One of the more stylish places in Bangsar, it's about the only place you can shout it from the rooftop.

    One corner on Telawi ...

Bangsar is a great place to meet up with friends, have a good meal and drinks before proceeding to the city for some serious dancing. This is a good place to for people-watching. On weekends, it can get really crowded, people spilling out unto the streets .. etc.. kinda fun, really !

Dress Code: No dress code but Bangsar is a place where people would be likely to take the trouble to 'dress up casually'.

    Bangsar: Clubbing

by Jungmin Written Mar 28, 2004

Dozens of clubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, in this district that is composed of several streets. Best bet for a club is Voyeurs near McDonald's and 7/11. The most dancing and the most internationals (as opposed to 50year old Malay men up to stare at scantily-clad teens) in this club. No cover charge, and no alcohol from outside (i.e. bottles) allowed.

To get home you can take a cab but keep in mind that you need to pay twice as much after 12. DO NOT GET IN A CAB ALONE.

Dress Code: Just clubbing attire. But don't go with as little cloth covering your body as in the States or Europe because this IS a muslim country and a rather dangerous place for women.

Bangsar: Not the same as before

by kielorla Written Sep 12, 2004

Well, before i go to KL, i have heard about Bangsar and how happening the place can be. But i am very disappointed when i was there, i heard once the place has a lot of restaurant from all around the world, but when we were there, most of the restaurant have closed down. All it left there is some pubs, the music is ok, but the crowds had gone. The crowds there are mostly indians, and the street is quite quiet.

I am very disappointed as i though that Bangsar should be a very happening place with music and restaurants everywhere, but i am wrong, The crowd have moved to other places, now Bangsar is left with a few pubs and not many happening crowds.

Therefore, i hereby informed whoever planning to go Bangsar, maybe can considered change location to other places like Zouks or around KLCC where there is a street of pubs which is more happening.
