The drummer in action! by blue_b Everynight, there will be live bands that perform on the street to entertain just about anyone who's walking the streets... Shown in the picture is a pic of the drummer of a band who performs outside BB plaza. They play good retro music from the 70s-80s and occasionally they play a few great malay tunes... When the shopping center closes around 9pm, the stairs to the shopping center becomes a free grand stand for all to get a drink and sit down just to watch the band..
Simple...anything goes Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicAddress: Outside BB plaza

by l_joo If you are in the Bukit Bintang road (nearby Low Yat Plaza), please look for this person, he is an old artist that draw portrait on the spot, I did not ask the price but I saw he has a price tag written there. He is probably the only one that come out alone at night on street to make living this way. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by themadbuddha Tuesday 05/06/2007 Last stop for the night, we went to try an Egyptian shisha (sheesha?) at Lecka Lecka on Bukit Bintang. A surprising experience, especially for a couple of non smokers but our guide was always finding us new experiences. It was also the first time I visited Lecka Lecka and didn’t eat their gelato. Technically it is still smoking but without the harshness associated with cigarettes. The herbal/fruit mixture is at the top of the pipe which is covered with foil. Then hot coals are placed on top of the foil. After a minute or two, we were able to draw on the pipe which takes the smoke through the water in the base and this is supposedly what removes all the bad things. I'm not going to pretend I understood it, I'm going to need to do a bit more research on exactly what I did do. I guess the real surprise was the lack of coughing I would have thought went with first time smoking and the strange ability to take deep breaths and exhale lots of smoke with ease. A little difficult at times to capture the flavour, possibly in part because of our choice of flavour and our inexperience. We were told taking it in with the mouthpiece on the side of the mouth and drawing the smoke across our tongue helped. We chose grape which was very mild and the intention was to go back at some point and try strawberry but unfortunately, we never had the opportunity.

by dh081 Great place to chill and play pool in the back right next to the main stage, if thats your thing. You can hang in a dark booth as well and not be bothered by anybody, if that is your thing. Although the bands are excellent and the drinks constantly flow so you may want to be proactive; you have plenty of room to move around here, you can relax and enjoy the space. Had a blast thanks to Yuhaimi and Sophia, you guys are the best! Go see the band "Faces" wherever they play in KL, they rocked ...oh and the lead singer- she is HOT!
