Situated in the corner of Jalan P Ramlee and Jalan Pinang, the Rum Jungle is a fast becoming a popular nightspot in KL. It stands out from the rest of the other buildings around it because it looks like a gigantic hut with thatch roofs & garden, giving it a look close to its name. It's only a 5-min walk from KLCC and people would come here for a drink after work & spend a few more hours to snack & drink more. There is a big circular bar serving all sorts of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, and a large dancefloor with a platform for the band. I suppose one attraction is the waitresses in the skimpy outfits serving the drinks. This is an open air place that also serves food, which is good for smokers & non-smokers Theme: Nightclub

Unlike Bukit Bintang area, Jlan Ramlee is more wacky, lively and vibrant at night. You see people in the streets enjoying the night out, people wearing some intriguing outfit or too sexy. You hear too loud music from the bars and you see more younger people enjoying the party. The sight of the Twin Towers here is a bonus. I remember walking here one night when host and vter Gong brought us here for a stroll, then we went to Ibiza where he had some bottle of beer....whew! That was a loud bar! We just enjoyed the music anyway, the people dancing on the floor were so amusing. We were in this area until 3AM, too late night out for us who were going to Singapore the next day. Now, I am walking along Jalan P. Ramlee (Jalan means street in Malay language...) where there are many clubs to woo you guys to stop by. This area to me is the trendy hangouts for people who want to experience of a nightlife in KL. We could see many tourists especially Mat Sallehs ( a Malay name/slang given to white guys or Minah Sallehs for white girls...). If you want to pick up girls (locals or otherwise...), this is also the area...'nuff said. Talking about picking up girls, chat with her first...less than 5 minutes, she's in your hotel room ! DON'T GET ANGRY AT ME SAYING THIS !THERE ARE BOOKS ON HOW TO PICK UP LOCAL GIRLS IN THE BOOKSHOPS HERE; THESE ACTIVITIES ARE BEING PROMOTED IN A WAY ! BAN THOSE BOOKS FIRST THEN I SHALL TAKE THIS TIP OFF ! Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

There's quite a number of restaurant, pubs and cage along this street, attracting hordes of expats and visitors on Fri and Sat nights. An alternative to Bangsar which is quite some distance away. There is also a number of Sahabat store enclaves around the area for local folks and visitors alike looking for local food for supper. The street is pretty happening on Fri and Sat nights. P Ramlee is where most of the night life activity takes place. there is something every night. Beach club is very popular but mostly filled with hookers, but on Thursdays they have real good live bands and its worth checking out. if you go down the street you will see places that have more decent people. I think one of the better clubs is Zouk which is just off P Ramlee. There will be people selling food on the streets and also a bunch of Ladyboys also hookering themselves. Most taxi drivers in that area are a mix of driver/pimp always offering you a ride first then a girl and sometimes drugs. There are also some nice restaurants around there. You will also get a great view of KLCC or Petronas Twin Towers at night which is when its at its best.
Zouk is a bit more upscale and you should dress nice, the other places in P. Ramlee you can go with just about anything. Theme: Live Music

KL has a great night life. The best is definitely (for clubbing) the Jalan P Ramlee area, Jalan Sultan Ismail, and Zouk. Other areas are Bangsar and Desi Sri Hertamas, PJ Hilton.
