Pack a laptop computer
Pack a laptop computer is a good idea, with this, you can build travel pages on the spot plus you can download all photos from you digital camera into the harddisk, but the problem is, a laptop computer is not easy to take care, but still is good.

A bit soggy
its a good idea to have a camera bag with you that seals from moisture. We found that the humidity played havoc with our video camera. At one stage, in the Batu cave, when my camera stopped working I opened it up to take a look and saw large droplets of water had formed inside and on the tape.

Get ready an umbrella for all weathers
Umbrella for travelling anywhere in Malaysia. It can be hot (30'C), and it can rain. So it serves dual purposes.

I would say right now...it's terribly hot in the early afternoon (that is from 10am to 3.30pm; approximately); then it rains cats and dogs from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Normally after a hot, humid day, it will rain at night. The monsoon coming from the Straits of Melaka is from April to September while the monsoon from the South China Sea is from November to March. We would be experiencing the Sraits of Melaka monsoon.

Clothings and miscellaneous items
Kuala Lumpur is very hot and humid throughout the year. Temperature can easily reach 35 degree Celcius. Needless to say your clothings shall be as thin as possible such as several pairs of t-shirts or short-sleeve shirts, several pairs of shorts, comfortable walking shoes or sport shoes, a hat, a cap or a sunshade.

I always bring along with me when I take a vacation in foreign countries sufficient quantities of headache/fever tablets such as Alvedon, Panadol or Aspirin in case I may fall sick on my holidays. Medical fees/charges for foreigners are usually much more expensive than for locals. Don't forget to bring along in your luggage your daily intake of vitamins and minerals and medicines/tablets if you are on medication.

Jackets
Bring a jacket with you. The morning fog freezes!! Apart from that, the rest of the day is acceptably cooling.

Packing List
Bring more light clothing, like t-shirts and bermudas. Weather is warm and humid.

Toiletries and medical staff can be easily bought here at pharmacies or local stores.

Sizzling Hot
I would definitely recommend taking light clothes when visiting KL as the humidity here is quiet high. It does`nt matter even when you walk outside your hotel late at night you break in a sweat almost instantly. So pack lots of shorts and t-shirts.

If you plan on spending alot of time in the sun I would advise you bring some sun block with you.

Bring comfortable shoes as you do alot of walking here in KL.

I would say always carry water with you as you can get dehidrated after sweeting so much here from the heat. Also try not walk around during midday as the sun here is very hot.
