This restaurant have a lot of choices for Taiwan Specialties which is rather rare in Malaysia. Price is considered reasonable for set per pax but the drinks are a bit pricy.
Favorite Dish: 3 bei Chicken (3 cup chicken) and their beef dishes are good and tender.

This is a small restaurant located at the busy Jalan Imbi. Over at Jalan Imbi there are so many eateries it is difficult to choose. There is the famous OVerseas restaurant which serves excellent Chinese food, and across from it where the former Overseas' chef has opened and then there is old time favourite Sakura and also a snack eatery called Frutti stall which I love their ice desserts and also hot paste soups.
But Fong Lye is one of my more favourite places along Jalan Imbi
Favorite Dish: I have several favourites here - wine marinated crispy pork which is like pork chop eaten with ketchup; then there is a chicken dish cooked in a metal bowl which the Chinese call it 3 cup chicken which in the menu is not called that. But if you like balck soya sauce and basil leaves this is the 3 cup chicken dish - a bit on the sweet side but it is really yummy.
The sweet and spicy and slightly sour egg plant dish is also yummy, but simple stir fried \vege with lily bulb etc is also yummy. On very cool evenings you can have fish head or better still entire fish fried and then immersed into a hotpot of clear soup which is filled with meatballs, cabbages, crabsticks, and you have the simple yet light flavour soup. Other typical dishes i order are stir fried french beans and also radish oimelltte.
haver their house tea which is pleasant.
