This is what we call as Big Fry in Malaysia - meaning it is a non airconditioned restaurant, fans usually with lots of tables inside and outside on the pavement, and sometimes the kitchen is exposed so you get to see the wok and cooking in actions.
The speciality here is fish paste, so you order steamed fish balls, and fried fish cakes, and also a noddle which looks like Japanese udon but made of fish paste cooked in eggy sauce and almost liek Cantonese fried noddles taste.
We also ordered their sweetish sourish crab - three meaty crabs, and an superior pomfret with assam sauce. it feeds 6 pax with two rounds of drinks - mainly lemon honey and fresh coconut drink. The bill came up to around RM320.
