Zipangu gives a different taste to the 'regular' Japanese food. The choices here are more localized to the Malaysian culture, with usage of local fruits, spices to add zest to its choices.
Pricing is moving towards the top-end, but what excuisite Japanese restaurant isn't!

Nadaman, and to be known as Zippangu from March 2002
Favorite Dish: everything there is so great.
for a cheaper fare, go for their set lunches.
But really they serve the best sushis in town made by Chef Ah Kit, and their teppanyaki chef Lancelot, makes your Japanese teppan so much more haute cuisine than any teppan chef. It is trully an experience.
Update - sorry - no more teppanyaki act show!!! Lancelot is now in the pastry department!!!! acquiring new skill.
Anyway, the restaurant serves an interesting buffet lunch - brunch on Saturday and Sundays from 11:30 am and it cost about 75 ringgit per head. To die for is the sushi and sashimi and also soft shell crab maki!!!!
