Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur
Well, in this place you may find a lot of cool shops, selling everything from fashion to gadgets you didn't know you needed!
On the upper floor there's an amusmentpark as well (indoors) and you may spend a day here just shopping, eating and riding the rollercoaster!
Times Square is a very huge shopping center with a rollar coaster inside the mall. It consist of 8 storeys of shopping level, but most of the shops are repeatable. Somemore it is too hugh to shop as you cant feel the crowd and the whole mall look very empty and quiet.
But if you are a quiet shopper which like to shop with minimum people, this is the place for you.
This has to be the biggest shopping mall in South East Asia that I have walked into.
Please note that this mall just opened on the 29th of Sept 2003 and will be fully operational by Nov 2003 just in time for the Xmas season.

The same area as LOT 10, there are The Berjaya Times Square...where there are more shopping opportunities !
The Berjaya Times Square is NOT yet completed ! I don't know when it'll be the official heart of the shopping district in KL....
At least in the area of LOT 10...there are more shopping malls to woo shoppers from anywhere in the world !
In real life, this shopping mall looks drab but thanks to the lights, it looks so brightly beautiful !
The largest development and shopping mall in KL's Bukit Bintang area just opened its door on 29 September 2003. 47 storeys in total, the shoping mall covers 12 levels while the remaining levels are made up of hotel/service suites and offices.
The shoping mall has a variety of offerings - from the British store Debenhams (open on 17 November 2003) to an indoor theme park (Cosmo World) and Malaysia's 1st IMAX Theatre, not to mentioned various retails outlets, cafe and restaurants which are slated to open in stages. Having a monorail station on its door step is a plus factor.
Its still early to judge how Times Square will fare against other established malls in KL (Suria KLCC, Mid Valley Megamall etc) but by the look of the eager crowd on its opening day, Times Square is here to stay.
What to buy: Well there's something for everyone here. Debenhams afficionados know what to get here. Kids and adults can also enjoy various rides at Cosmo World.
What to pay: Expect to pay reasonable price tag as the mall is targeted for middle to upper class market.
The building itself is huge and but the looks you see that it is new. I was expecting a day long shopping, but upon entrance I was surprised that of 6 floors only three of them have shops. Anyway you can buy great things - souvenirs, clothes, shoes, ..... all at reasonable prices for westerns.
When they fill all the mall with shops I think it will be one of the best places to shop at. Debnhams is opening in November....
i think this is the first in-door theme park in KL city and it's huge. take a look at the roller coaster track !
What to pay: at the moment, it's RM20 for adults and RM10 per child for unlimited rides but for a limited time only. sounds good ?
Honestly, this picture was taken around 10.00AM on a Sunday morning there. The mall is only 50% complete, but knowing the general Malaysian past time, mall~lepaking (like a mall-rat) they were there before the rest of KL.
In the picture you will see the main entrance to Times Square. It offers you 12 floors of pure mad shopping and the mall will be fully functional by March 2004.
What to buy: General mall things.
What to pay: Depends on what you are after.
Time square is a nice shopping spot like twin towers and Bukit Bitang. There gathers international shops and offers nice shopping environment, for example toilettes are clean.
Wide, spacious, expensive and cheap items are all here. Located in the middle of the city. Just near the monorail station. Safe and security are evident.
What to buy: shoes, blouses
What to pay: credit card, cash
Just outside Sg. Wang Plaza complex...Restaurants, shops & people will fill this area, again a lively atmostphere...
