 | Kuala Lumpur Mid Valley Megamall Reviews | Tips 21 - 28 of 28 | | As a traveller first coming to Kuala Lumpur i was predominantly drawn to the greatness of the twin towers and did not feel the need to find more shopping centres, until i found, that i could not buy something which id wanted, in that particular store, which is when i started asking around, which is when i came across Mega Mall. Megamall has a bit of everything, to suit your tastes, from extensive stalls selling everything from tourist kitch, jewelery, shoes, clothes and the supermarket (Carrefour) on the lowest level sells everything else you cant find in other levels. This mall is also predominantly cheaper than KLCC or Times Square, with generaly a lot more variety.
As a girl with her navel pierced, i foundit particularly diffecult to find jewelery in other stores, but Megamall had a number of vendors which a large variety.
Anything, depends what you buy.... Leave a Comment |
Mid Valley Megamall is huge, crowded and really interesting place to go shopping. You find here absolutely everything and proces are very competitive with a great pleasure of shopping in air conditioned place. Here you find many cafes and restaurants, Mid Valley had 3 floors so better have time going there as after 2 hours I was in the middle of first floor. You can find Malaysian fashion and style as well as European. Mid Valley megamall is known as a bggest mall in SE Asia.
Im crazy about Bags and Shoes and shops in KL have enourmus amount of different types of shoes and bags!
Compared to European price, everything is so cheap in Malaysia. Dont expect a shock price when buying, well, maybe, bcos it will be so low. Leave a Comment |
The shops go on and on in this mall strategically located between KL and Petaling Jaya. It has Metrojaya, Jusco, Carrefour and Golden Screen Cinema and MPH as anchor tenants, over 300 specialty stores and 70 F&B outlets under one roof. Adjacent to the Megamall is the 3-star Cititel Mid Valley Hotel. This is a huge mall! I believe there are shuttles form hotels to this mall cause it is a bit out of the way. Their departmental store Jusco has a lot of cheap deals. Plus look out for the chinese shops...there is one that sells everything in it for 5 RM each....fantastic. Leave a Comment |
This place has EVERYTHING and is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!! It's like walking around a city, it's that big!! It's got all the regular chain stores, along with one off shops too. Cater for all clothing tastes, and stlyes. There are plenty of shoe shops too, food outlets, sports stores, cinemas, pharmacies, bread stores, etc... it's got the lot! Oh yeah, and my favourite Dunkin Donuts!!!! YumYum!!! We don't have those in Melbourne!!! It's well worth a visit, even more so if oyu want to stay out of the heat, as it's fully air-con (like all the other shopping centres too), and you could easily spend a whole day here!! Cheap to get to via taxi, but there are also buses that go there too. I don't know all the exact details, so probably best for you to check out their website for youself. Basically all I wanted to say was that's it's great, and well worth the visit for the shopaholic!!!! Hotel next door too!! But you can find all that info out on their website!!! |

I like this shopping centre the best.. Tons of accessories shops and there are cheap too and You may bargain with those carts seller... Things here are generally much more cheaper than those in KL town ..And they have much nicer stuff for all ages and gender... Poised to be one of the largest retail, food and entertainment centres in Malaysia--and Asia--Mid Valley Mega mall is the latest addition to the many shopping complexes in the city. It is the first retail mall to house three leading and successful anchor tenants, Carrefour, Jusco and Metrojaya. Complementing them are 18 mini anchors and 430 speciality shops. There is even a huge health club, many beauty and hair salons, and a large bookstore. For entertainment, you will be spoilt for choices. A huge bowling alley, the region’s largest cineplex (18 screens), snooker centre, fun pub and arcade are among some of the diversions here. As for food, you only need to decide what you want to eat, and chances are you will find it at Mid Valley. Two food courts offer a huge selection of everything from local food to teppanyaki, while specialty restaurants, cafes, bakeries, coffee bistros, fast food outlets, local food takeaways, snack counters and hotdog stands may be found at strategic locations throughout the mall.
