visit and shop at the cocoa boutique
we discovered this chocolate shop through our cab driver who also became our impromptu tour guide (more on him on my transportation tips). the cocoa boutiqe caters to tourists only and the locally produce and sell chocolates that you won't normally find in malls or duty free shops. chocolates can be bought by the grams or in boxes. the fun part is that you can actually do a free tasting of the chocolates and we tried practically all of them. yummy! their almond chocolates and coconut chocolates are particularly good. one should also try their ginseng chocolates which has a sort of minty flavor and has health benefits even! prices are relatively cheap and duty free.

  • Address: jalan kamuning (if i remember right)
  • Phone: 603-21417010
  • Directions: try either the of these roads: jalan utara, jalan delima, jalan inai and jalan kamuning. these roads are located in the quieter parts off jalan imbi and jalan bukit bintang in the golden triangle of KL.

Petronas Twin Towers: Petronus Twin Towers
when i first saw these towers, i refused to beleive they were the tallest towers in the world. they looked quite small but as soon as i stood remotely near them, i took it back. they are huuuge! and the architecture is amazing! the first seven floors is actually a shopping mall but the floors above that are office blocks. sadly, you can only travel up to the 40th floor (i think), so i would actually give this a miss as the queue is really long and not all that worth it
