When you are in Chinatown, enjoy the colourful sight of fruits, food, clothes, bags, watches display, the smell of Hokkien fried mee and BBQ seafood and vendors calling out to customers.
Do try our local fruits when it is the season especially mangosteen and rambutans. Mangosteen is magenta in colour but the flesh is white. It taste sweet and at time sourish. Be cafeful not to drop the juice on our clothes. Rambutans are round and hairy. Some are red and some are yellow in colour. The flesh is white like lychee. It is really sweet. Taking too much can cause cough.
Behind the fruit stall is a shop that is famous for their Hokkien mee(It is thick noodles fried with black soya sauce, lard, pork, prawns and cabbage.).

    Chinatown: PETALING STREET
  • Tip Rating:
  • The heart of Kuala Lumpur's original CHINATOWN and a bustling night market serving as a bargain hunter's paradise and one of the premier shopping areas in the city with its distinctly oriental atmosphere

    Chinatown: China Town
  • Tip Rating:
  • I strolled through China Town for more than 1 hour. I like all the stalls selling so many things. Even if you buy nothing it's worth to walk around.
Very much I liked all the fresh fruits they sell there at a very low price.

    Chinatown: Explore Chinatown
  • Tip Rating:
  • Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown is not as colourful as in other more traditional Malaysian cities, such as Malacca or Penang, but well worth a visit to have lunch or do some shopping. It is one of the most active parts of town and one can still find here traditional stores and food stalls in contrast with the standardised boutiques and fast food venues of the shopping malls.

Bargain? Yeah! Chinatown as it known, where you might heard often and it is the most common places that visited by travellers! Many travellers come to Chinatown because of the bargain business!
Lots of goodies, anything from watches to handbags but believe me, all those are not original and not long lasting but it's damn cheap thats all.
