Every March, KL goes F1 crazy as it holds the annual event. If you are here in March a visit to the Sebang circuit is definitely a must to do. Ticket prices vary greatly and if you are on a budget you can get one for 50RM seating on the grass on one of the corners. If shade is essential for you then you can get grass tickets with shade for RM100. You cannot take drinks in but there are many stalls available. Also don't forget an umbrella for rain or sun as it does get very very hot on the track. Parking is very expensive so ask at your accommodation for ways to get there. Once you arrive on site there is a bus desserving the various entrances. It takes about an hour to get there from KL and on the day add at least another 30/45 minutes due to traffic.
Take some ear plugs as you can imagine the noise can be deafening
I realised my dream of watching it live and was even happier that Schumacker did not win this race :o)

    Grand Prix formula 1

One of the biggest event in Malaysia - GRAND PRIX FORMULA 1.. :)

Some hotels can help you get a van or taxi to get there(just make sure to check the price).

If you are travelling couple, you might want to sit close in the van(if you don't want to be split).
What happened when I was there was, first, they pick us up at the hotel and we go to this place to change to a van which will bring us straight to the Sepang Circuit. There's this duo who was not sitting together in the van(no place..too many people)..and when the driver was organising people, they have to split(the other one have to wait for the next van). I could see they were worry not to see each other cos obviously it will be very crowded once they'll reach Sepang..

    From Sepang....
There'll be a bus..but you gotta be quick cos it's always very crowded! You gotta pay certain amount of money(so make sure you have small notes cos there's so much problem with that..) The bus will only bring you till the KLIA (airport) bus station..

You'll have to purchase another ticket to take a bus that bring you to the central of Kuala Lumpur(you can actually ask the driver if the'll stop at your hotel).
