    This is the fourth tallest tower in the world. The views are great on a smog free day. The foyer is something not to be missed (look at the ceiling).

    Menara Kuala Lumpur, or KL Tower With it's 421 meter the fourth highest telecommunications tower in the world. You have a superb panorama from the 260 meter high viewing deck.

    The Kuala Lumpur Tower or Menara Kuala Lumpur is situated a top of Bukit Nanas in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur’s hotel district. The concrete tower is 421 meters high and the tallest in Asia as well as the fourth tallest in the world. Visiting the top you can enjoy a spectacular overview of the entire city and if you wish you can also sample a meal up there in its revolving restaurant. The tower also serves as a transmission station for telecommunication, mobile phone networks, radio and television.

    Go up the KL Tower. The views are amazing. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world. You have a bit of a hike up to the entrance to the tower becuase it is on a hill (you can get a taxi if you're lazy!)It took us about 15mins to walk up and at the top you need the nice cold coke cans which are right in the entrance! From here it is easy as you pay a nominal entrance fee and get whisked up into the clouds(smog)in a lift to a viewing platform which you can walk round giving you a total 360degree view of the city. This photo was taken through the window (not scanned yet!). It gives you an over view of where everything is in relation to the centre and is really interesting.

    The Menara (NAtional) Tower is one of the highest telecommunication towers in the world and the third tallest structure in the city (after the twin Petronas Towers). It stands on a hill dominating the financial city and it offers a 360º panorama from its viewing deck, which is much higher than the one at the Petronas.

    Visit Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower). It's the main telecommunications tower in Malaysia. It also has a revolving restaurant at 282m (948 ft) called the Seri Angkasa (requires reservation). The observation deck is at 276m (928 ft) and from there you can see the whole magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur from every angle! You can rent (for RM5) an audio tour (headphone set) in your mother tongue to assist you as you enjoy the view! You can watch a video on its amazing construction at the mini theatre in the Menara Tourist Center. Adult admission for Malaysian is RM 8 and for foreign tourists it is RM15. Standing at 421 m (1,403 ft), it is the 4th tallest communications tower in the World.It's structure was built with 45,000 cubic metres of sturdy concrete. Designed with vertical ribs on the external surface, the Tower weighs 100,000 tonnes and was built on no-piling, freestanding land. Menara Kuala Lumpur opulently stands as the tallest tower in Southeast Asia. Menara Kuala Lumpur ranks fourth amongst the tallest telecommunications towers in the world and was constructed over a period of four years and completed in May 1996. Menara Kuala Lumpur is designed to withstand wind pressures of up to 90mph. Menara Kuala Lumpur is a member of the prestigious World Federation of Great Towers. The four tallest towers in the world are CN Tower in Canada at 553m, Ostankino Tower in Russia at 537m, Shanghai Tower in China at 468m followed by Menara Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia at 421m.

    Menara Kuala Lumpur-tower is an absolute must to visit. The scenery from up there is simply astonishing!! Even the worlds tallest building Petronas Twin Tower looks small as Menara lies on the hill!

    Menara Kuala Lumpur, serves the nation as a telecommunications and broadcasting tower. It is one of the tallest concrete towers in the world at 421 metres and also the fourth tallest telecommunications tower in the world. The main lobby of the upper ground floor is decorated with glass-clad domes that sparkle like giant diamonds. These domes were designed and arranged in the form of the Muqarnas by Iranian craftsmen from Isfahan.
